  1. Considering the name calling on this post I'm surprised you feel only one section is responsible. As I'm relatively new to the forum I read most posts and to be honest it amazes me that so many fans have joined us for only the football. I appreciate that we are all entitled to our opinion about the club moving forward, but, and there is a but, respect is a two way street and there was little respect shown to the OP or am I mistaken.
  2. Many on here have just followed the family tradition meaning family ties with the shipyards and the Ibrox area. I would imagine some due to the religious aspect, others because we are successful but to say the majority had nothing to do with religion I would consider naive.
  3. I'm curious as to why you are a Rangers fan. Many on here have just followed the family tradition meaning family ties with the Ibrox area. I would imagine some due to the religious aspect, others because we are successful so where do you place yourself.
  4. Ooooooo you mentioned Al Qaeda, well I think thats who you were talking about. You were the one that used them in comparison to some of our supporters religious and political beliefs, you were the one that said you'd tell them where to go with your exceptional command of the English language. So you with your self opinionated drivel should look back in our history and give a little respect. That is if you can get off your moral high horse.
  5. Does this mean you feel your opinion and only your opinion is correct when it comes to our team. That you feel the Al Qaeda is a fair comparison to the followers of our team. IMO you have lost the plot. We have a large following of Protestants, even, dare i say orange without upsetting you and have had for generations. i feel they should have as much say as to how the team are followed without being compared to terrorist organisation IMO
  6. I'm beginning to worry about some of our supporters on here. I'm sure we have always been an eclectic bunch of supporters but to think out history has never had any connection with religion makes me laugh. I think you must be living on another planet. I would advise you to check out our history. I'm all for moving forward and changing but not for re writing our history. The fact out club was adopted by a large following of shipyard workers has enabled us to grow and prosper, it also makes their opinions as important as any religious or atheist opinions. So play nice.
  7. Hopefully he's booked hospitality and isn't waiting for an invitation "He came, he saw, he conquered" with a little "Et tu, Walter?" Just to complete the tragedy.
  8. You just have to be involved with any teams 16 to 21 to appreciate how difficult it is to keep them interested. It is the age when they are discovering freedom. In my experience some of the best young players have preferred alcohol fuelled nights out rather than training. This goes hand in hand with the disappointment of their parents, that have arranged their lives around their sons football for years yet now are answering calls from managers saying their sons haven't turned up for the game. The sad thing is some that do appear are so sick during the game they have to come off. I'm not saying they are all like that but when the parents influence is removed at that age many just want to do their own thing.
  9. So who do we think the mole or moles could be. These stories keep rolling out but we never find the true source. The main worry is there seems to be a power struggle going on. If that's the case it sounds like self interest is the call of the day. Have they forgotten its about the club. All this about cleansing just infuriates me. If there is a problem it should be sorted in house, then the fans should be informed. Take for example the coaching staff, that conversation should have remained in house. Many of our fans have varied opinions on that area and the fact the question was asked was not a bad thing, it was business. Although IMO not for anyone's ears but management.
  10. We may have the best of everything at MP but we will only attract quality if there is the chance of first team football. Obviously some will not make the grade but Im amazed we have received nothing in the past for players that are still playing elsewhere and making a living in the game. Lets face it these lads joined us because they had potential, so surely we should have had some return on our investment. Maybe we should be marketing lads that have been with us for years, instead of giving them free transfers to get the wage bill down.
  11. Hopefully they're promising young talent with some experience. It's time for the manager & coaching staff to prove they can spot new talent.
  12. Lol you missed out it's a mans game but I'm afraid these days have long gone. Just consider it character building for our next generation.
  13. How can you not appreciate their enthusiasm especially this season. I miss the days when everyone and their granny sang the songs and would love that to be part of our future.
  14. Not sure if I appreciated or managers comment about RFC needing cleansed. Having tried to justify his lack of information about CG recently, I'm at a loss as to why one minute he knows nothing and says so, yet now basically IMO is aware of dirty areas in our club. I just don't appreciate him inciting an already concerned fan base, unless he's willing to back it up with details.
  15. I'm sure the figures are on a par with most seasons when the league is won early, but I may be wrong. As for the football we are playing, I have on occasion thought some nice passing and good goals. If I were to go down your path, I could say we have had some poor shows but unlike you I'm a half full glass type of person, so I'm positive that where our weaknesses are our manager will be working to bring in some new talent.
  16. You do our fans an injustice. IMO. As for your opinion on our league I find it distasteful. Rangers have managed to carry on a legacy and brought young families back to the game. This maybe a MML to you, but many Rangers fans young and old consider it is an honour to watch their team everywhere, anywhere and the song goes on.
  17. Lets face it we all have different opinions on CG. He's obviously a successful businessman but the question is, did he see Rangers as a quick buck or a longterm investment. I wish I had the answer but until all the questions are asked, I'm happy to sit on the fence. Lets hope our manager has already sorted out our restructuring program and we will be hearing an announcement in the near future.
  18. Enjoyed the UB/BO today. I thought we played a bit better today but had the competition been stronger it may have highlighted our weaknesses. In our defence it was a lot more enjoyable than our last Hampden victory.
  19. Is it ok to read JT now he works for us. Maybe it's time to get our boys more vocal in these papers instead of letting them brainwash Scotland.
  20. For one night only I will admit it has been agony. I have joined this forum to be positive. The last year has made me realise its time to unite and support our team. Ally has a lot to prove as a manager but I feel he deserves another year.
  21. Only wish you had the same praise for him winning the 3rd division. In your defence have you checked out Messi and Alves warming up PSG game, can we ever be that good.
