  1. Mmmm mm I really think we need a strong CM. A commanding playmaker that can control the pace of the game and build up the confidence of the youngsters.
  2. Mmm mm CG another freezing cold day no wonder they drink so much alcohol. I wonder how long to get the plans past in planning for the bars and restaurant. Fans having a drink to celebrating or commiserating, yes that's a priority. I cant believe how many fans are here in this cold, when the games on TV. I thought we would struggle today with the team being weakened by international-duty. Hope the young team aren't disillusioned by the crowd. Lets hope we win our next game in style. Note to-self I must get thermal underwear.
  3. Is this really about Huttons tweet or Rangers coaching setup. Considering how young our squad are I'm pleasantly surprised how little media coverage they've received. Lets face it one slip and they'll be headliners. Maybe the coaching staff should have a few bounce games after training with the boys instead of improving their golf handicap
  4. Numan, I thought he was a red wine man myself, or was that De Boer. As for Ricksen does he still have his outstanding firework collection
  5. I agree but should CG be spouting negativity. One of our problems in the past has been the creme de la creme of the youngsters didn't come to Rangers because they thought the chance of playing in the first team was minimal. I had thought a good run for some of our youngsters may attract others, but with all the negativity about the boys that remained it's looking unlikely.
  6. I was of the similar opinion as you about our manager until I watched the documentary The Rising Rangers one year on. Maybe you think any manager could have united Rangers and got them to this point in time, but loyalty I'm afraid won my heart and for that reason I believe he deserves another year.
  7. Mmm mm So your suggesting we sack our manager, sorry is that before or after we win the league. Yes let's sack him as we lift the cup at Hampden that sounds like a reward for all the work he's done for our club. Anyone could have won this league with the money he's spent, I hear you all say. Well it's thanks to him we are here, does that mean nothing to you . I could understand if we were not ahead, but please let him have another year, if he does not improve then I'm sure he will make his move with dignity. It's not as if he needs the grief or the money.
  8. Maybe Trayner should be getting more involved.
  9. A derogatory term used by anti-rangers campaigners when referring to a business transaction.
  10. I am a cider drinker I drinks it all of the day I am a cider drinker I drink it everyday & No one can take our trophies away Oh arr oh arr
  11. . Although I would love this to happen, I think it would just give Spiers more exposure. Lets hope our Mr Trayner and RTV are working on some payback for these rats.
  12. I imagine that a man who is willing to get involved with a football team with a fan base like ours may not be taking any chances in our eyes, but the banks obviously disagree. I have to admit when he gave the speech about rangers not being defended for a few years he won my heart. I hope he doesn't break it. Thinking back i remember Rangers Orange Day like yesterday, the fans walking over Langside monument all in orange heading to Hampden That's a memory i'll never forget no matter how may negative things are printed about Murray.
  13. Tomorrow I hope we toast the end of the hold the SFA have held over us. We should never accept punishment against us again, without a fight. If tomorrow goes against us. We must unite and fight for our rights as a team. If that means marching so be it. Remember people in power created this mess we are in. Let us never be complacent again WATP or in this case maybe No Surrender is more appropriate.
  14. Lets put it into perspective. A TV station complained about our support singing sectarian songs. So the police approached our fans to investigate, does that mean rangers fans turned against each other. I would have said never but after reading some of these posts my heart bleeds. Rangers did the only thing they could in my opinion. They silenced the medias criticism of them before it started. A wise move but who would have thought our own fans would be the ones keeping this story alive. We don't want to be called sectarian but which song are allowed, maybe its time for clarification. It will also make a good case for anyone feeling it is in breach of their civil rights. A win win in my opinion.
  15. I imagine it anyone's civil rights are breached there could be consequences on both sides.
  16. Loved it, i almost forgot the team were playing on Saturday and we got three point.
  17. It is not all negative. Ok so we have a number of our fans singing us into trouble, but how many of us have changed our ways already and stopped singing these songs. Unfortunately our supporters are being targeted. Why? could be its because many of us have been singing these songs for years and feel it is part of our history. Let us not forget that Rangers were adopted as a football team by many because of religion. These fans were not rejected by the club then and I'm sure never will . We have been told certain chants are illegal so lets find new ones. Rangers are asking us to help them avoid punishment. If you must sing these songs do it in private. We are fighting for our team here. The last thing we need is a family feud. That would just be the icing on the cake for the rangers hating bandwagon.
  18. Is it time to forgive, forget and move on. If I could I would but I can't. I abhor that a group of people tried to systematically eliminate our team. They managed to congregate a hate mob unlike anything I've witnessed, to destroy us. For that reason I feel it is in all our interest to never be complacent again. We must protect our heritage with integrity and dignity.
  19. Seriously the bears den Ian Hart interview is worth check out.
  20. Ian Hart played Professor Quirrell in the film adaption of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Lol sorry couldn't resist that, well if the media can make up stories why can't we.
  21. A year ago i would have been proud to say i had followed Scotland in their last three World Cup runs. Unfortunately due to the hierarchy of the SFA and their decisions, my loyalties to the national team have been tested. Yes I am British and a rangers fan who at this moment along with many rangers fans have suffered the indignities forced upon us by the "let's get rangers bandwagon". So should we also allow them to high jack our national team now, alienating us as a group again. I may not be attending Scotland games at the moment, but if the clowns are removed, I will return, so I won't sing anti Scotland song.
  22. I can only imaging that top goalscorer in the 3rd Division means nothing to OP. Personally I wonder who could have done a better job for us, or even, where would we have been without him.
  23. I've been surprised at the reaction this post has brought. I'm beginning to wonder if the religious aspect is shadowing the fact that its a great tune. Theres been a few songs that I have chosen not to sing at games, but that's been my choice.
  24. Mmm mm stats not relevant lol, well, while your checking out customers for Vidal Sassoon I've been watching our games.
