  1. Lovencraps is the dumbest player ever. Faster than a fucking speeding bullit, yet didnt have the brains to work out that he could give any defender a yard of a start and still win the ball. Wish I had a quid for everytime that dud was caught offside. I hope this rumour is bullshit.
  2. I thought he would stay. Clearly I got it 100% wrong. This is very dissapointing.
  3. I thought he done ok for his first game. I liked the fact that he played the ball across for the goal. Looked a bit nervous, I say that from the few rash/clumsy challenges. The defender done well but not really pushed that much. Good header fae a corner from the front post.
  4. SDM will not sack him. Never going to happen. If the league is over by x-mas he will become director of football/moonbeam director/super-scout/tea lady. etc etc etc.
  5. I dont belive that any mans first job as a manager should be The Rangers job.
  6. Thanks for setting this up. I have joined under the name. Mezcalll.
  7. Im not a fan of the bjk stuff. I belive that this was started because there were whispers about the un-washed trying to get him a posthumous knighthood. That aint happenned, so mission acomplished. To keep singing it, I feel dosent do us any favours, but each to there own. Can anybody else recall about the mid 90's the un-washed singing Richard goughs a child molester? I'm sure I heard it at a few old firm games.
  8. Gers to win 3-1. Goal down at h/t Novo (2) JCD.
  9. I take it that its not more than 10 then?
  10. 25. 10 each for mcGregor and King Carlos and 5 for Hutton. Pure guess.
  11. He is a big lad, powerfull and on his day a good player. Pity he has a bad attitude. If he was 21 and not 31 then there is a chance that he could change. The problem is that he is 31 and probably wont change. I think it would be best for everybody if we could get him a move. If he is still here after the transfer window, and gets a game then I will not be happy, but will support him. As I would with any player.
  12. Hard, me ? Ive no idea what youre talking about, PM me. Actually, I think I know My sense of humour has been described as corrosive. The youtube vid with cooper almost made me burst into tears. Therefore you must be a hard man to be able to deal with it. Much tougher than me.
  13. Coopermania, your a hard hard man. Im a tough kinda guy in the mental and physical use of the word, however you are hard. Really hard. your youtube post had me erm.. lets just say I had something in my eye (s). Not many people can do that to me. So point taken I aint gonna mess with you boss.
  14. Sairdy, just to clear things up. I never intended on causing offense. I thought posting details of Smith's personal life just wasn't cricket though. I'd be 1st to post criticism of him in a footballing sense, I read your thoughts on our CL aspirations in 93 with a sense of 'familiarity'. Jimenez, there was no offense taken at your post, I was a little put of at your deduction that I didn't go to Jacks Funeral because of his son. I did not go for the reason I stated and that reason only. If you are content with this response then I am too. In general I believe that if you are a public figure then you have no personal life, its just the price you pay for being famous. Pacifically in this instance I don't believe I have posted anything about The Smith family that was not already public record. I was not being sarcastic about your pompous dig, I did generally find it funny and as I mentioned I have never been called that before. I look forward to crossing swords with you over football matters, and agreeing with you as well. RANGERS TILL I DIE.
  15. Hey Coopermania, I have enjoyed posting, and reading the replys. I take it from your name that your hero is Davie? ^_^ He was my hero to. They say that you should never meet your heros, I never met him. Would have loved to. By all accounts he was done to earth and a genuine guy. I remember the early 80's when we were not so good, 1 player was all we had. Super-cooper. I was over the moon when the good times came back and he enjoyed the Souness era. It seemed to me as a just reward for staying with his team threw the bad times. Rangers threw and threw. Sadly he died on my birthday, 23 march. Thats just the way it goes. still makes me sad that he aint here.
  16. Sorry did not know, I got it from this thread, thought it was ok.
  17. That would be the best christmas present ever, I would be over the moon. However it wont happen. Smith is that far up SDM arse that all he can see is Bains shoes.
  18. Hi SuperRangers, I'm glad your grandpa got to ge the top man in his club before he passed away, it means a lot to be the president. Like the Roberts pic' we didnt win that day, but that was a classic get it right up yeas day, only surpassed by in 88" by the gers fans singing happy birthday dear celtic as the 5th goal went in.
  19. Delparlane, hi, I am very critical of Smith. Most of it I feel is just. Being so critical has its down sides. Like not enjoying the highs as much, because your almost waiting for it to go wrong also as you say missing out the good thing (s) he has done. Who knows what the season bring. Thanks for the reply.
  20. Frankie, In any pre-match interview I expect to hear the the usual there a good team with some great individual player, there at home and this will be a tough match, etc etc., but I also expect to hear we are Rangers and we always try and win every game we play in. I do take your point about basing any longterm opinions on pre/post match interviews. Thats not what I did, in my post I said thats when I would have sacked him. I didn't mean that was the start of my issues with Smith, it was more that interview was the straw that broke the donkeys back. You are right about the game, it was a cracker, Durrant scored a peach and I think it was with his left. They were a top team full of fantastic players. It is only my thoughts that Smith is a bottle merchant. You are right about me ignoring the good times under smith from that time onwards. I think that I do regret that a bit now. As I get older I have mellowed a bit, still got a long way to go though. I just believe that my club should always be looking to improve and go forward and I don't see that happening under Smith. Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to this, so all comments are welcome.
