  1. Rangers should give Tom English and his fellow BBC presenter life time bans now. They want to fight fire with fire? The only way these 2 should see Ibrox now is from a TV set. Once we issue them with lifetime bans we should take our complaint to London and produce the evidence that they have constantly went for us, demand they sort out BBC Scotland or we will be taking legal action. Then complain that the biggest club in Scotland with the most licence payer fans per head in the country are being denied a service that the licence funded BBC should be providing.. More than one way to skin a cat, and English banned for life for thinking anyone gave a fuck about him inside Ibrox.
  2. Felt as thou at times we were trying to walk the ball into the net, good at getting the ball back and retaining possession, overall a good display but I expect a lot more from our two wide players. This team already have a good look about them and they will only get better as the season goes on. Lee Wallace is a player transformed from the guy last season.
  3. Good man, your club needs you more than ever, gonna be a great season this year.
  4. The BBC have a duty to the licence fee payers , I for one will demand to know why I am paying for a service that they are now refusing to supply because of one reporter. If this is the case then it's up to all us bears to complain to the BBC in London not the anti Rangers, pro Celtic BBC up here. Great the board are finally taking the fight to these and other Rangers haters.
  5. It's a inferiority complex they have that it all stems from. WATP
  6. Now for Hugh keevins the head of the sports for the daily Rebel, remember the back page saying we should be stripped of 5 titles ? Apologises for it, and then he thinks life moves on. We as fans stated we will never forget, well this bear will never forget how we were toxic to them all. We do not need any of them now with the internet. But they need clubs like us to stay in a job.
  7. Sutton the cunt that called us cheats when we beat Dunfermilne 6-1 to win the second part of a treble.
  8. Agree about Brown, good at reading a game at either centre back or if Robbo was injured filled in at left back.
  9. Was great going forward as he had the speed, but his second touch was a tackle at times. Should have got more caps.
  10. As you said these days as those days you think about are long long gone. The cunts already want another referendum, Would we have got another referendum if the yes campaign won? Not a chance in hell.
  11. He should be sacked, no excuses. Enough bears pick up the phone and demand to speak to whoever is looking into it and demand as taxpayers he sacked or you will be contacting your msp. You said n***er, Paki or Fenian instead of h** then your feet would not touch the ground. We should all demand he is sacked and he will be sacked, that's what they do.
  12. Again they speak and think like the vast majority of fans.
  13. Iain Ferguson was a unsung hero, he was constant through the 9 in a row era. You could always count on Iain to turn up against that lot, and the added bonus he never hid the fact he hated the mob he stayed over the back from.
  14. Let's hope we sell another 5 thousand before the season starts, I am sure we will sell a few more after the first couple of games if we perform like we did at Easter Rd.
  15. Disgraceful thread, fuck all to do with Advocatt, he also got good money in remember, Nearly 7 million back for Flo, £4.3m Reyna, 8.5 Gio. He is the man who made Murray Park happen, until then we jumped about in a mini bus and trained where ever we could. Advocaat only spent what Murray allowed him to spend or have people forget that? We also played some of the best football I have ever seen Rangers play under him and hope the new manager emulates him. And I still don't remember ebt's being illegal. Did we not win the big tax case? And I would put money on we will win the appeal as well, fuck HMRC and Lloyd's fucking bank for forcing the sale to Whyte, and that cunt Murray for doing what the bank told him to save his own fucking skin. Bet he regrets selling us now, tens of millions he lost on the sale because of the big tax case which he won.
  16. If you have not bought a season ticket then shame on you. Only Kidding, but serious get your arse off down to Ibrox or get on the blower and get one. I am sure zebra finance is a good deal, so you can pay it up. When we are playing attacking flowing football and scoring for fun , do you really want to be on the phone or queuing up for hours for cup tickets?
  17. Could not agree more, Duke box was a great striker, Is he not the last man to score a hatrick in a Scottish cup final? As for Barry? Even when leaving he helped us through to the champs league with a fantastic display in Copenhagen, And as for Iain? Good parkhead boy and like all east end boys who are bears, he grew up hating them and made sure they fucking new it, was a great midfielder and was a major part of our most successful period ever. All legends in my eyes
  18. Saw Jardine late on his career at Ibrox and Baxter was before my time, Cooper I did consider and would have probably been my no 11 pick funny enough with Goram.Cooper as great a talent as he was went missing in a bad Rangers team, he was unhappy under Greig when I really started going regular and took Wallace to return and transform him back to the player we all knew he was , under Wallace he lost weight and showed a bit of hunger again, he then forced his way into the Scotland set up but was by no means a regular. Cooper as we all know had a left foot that could open a can, his goal in the skol cup final against Aberdeen was what football is all about, I still remember hearing the fud of the net up the other end of the park, would love to know how fast that and the Albertz free kick were traveling, as both are as good a free kicks I have seen from a Rangers player. Cooper was allowed to leave like Jardine far to early, Cooper had a couple more seasons in him at Rangers and Jardine could have stayed as right back right up until Souness arrived as he was outstanding for hearts. We could all make lists of top 10 and they would be different, but I bet if we had to pick 25 modern players from the old firm we would not be far apart. But while on old players why not Wullie Henderson ? As for Baxter or Gazza ? According to my late father who took me as kid and introduced me all those years ago, Slim Jim was not the King for nothing, said he was a far better player than Gazza. Maybe we should start a thread Gazza or Baxter? Would love to hear the older ones stories about Slim Jim and Wullie Henderson.
  19. Very pleased with the work the manager is doing, another good young prospect .
  20. King Brian was head and shoulders above Larsson, why even compare them? Here are another 3 who were better and why, Gio. Van Bronckhorst, Outstanding midfielder probably the only one to rival Brian, Had one hell of a corner, they way it swerved and dipped with the pace he put on it, Gio was the complete footballer to me, He was on his way up and was only a matter of time he left, He went to the wrong club in Arsenal I thought but showed his class at Barca, As I remind tarriers, he was the left back the season Larsson was no more than a sub, funny enough Larsson is his best pal, Gio had quick feet could tackle and used to run the midfield under Advicaat, His goal in the champs League in our 1-0 win in Monaco was a peach, again another head and shoulders above Larsson. As much as i think he has ripped the club off since adim, Ally McCoist, don't listen to all that lucky bull shit, I saw Ally struggle at Rangers, then get into the Scotland fringe set up when Wallace was in charge of us. Had a good season 85-86 in a poor Rangers team who could only manage 3 away wins in the league all season and one of them was early on against Clydebank, Souness came just before the Mexico World Cup and the rest is history, Ally worked hard and we really seen the best of him when Hateley arrived, But most importantly Ally had a eye for goal, found space in the box and always new where the ball would land. And remind the tarriers about his goal record against them plus medals and the fact he had 2 golden boots. Favourite goal would have to be 1-0 win with 10 men over the scum at Hampden, Davie Robertson sent off after 5minutes and the weather was absolutely awful, but Ally rifled one home from 18yards just before half time up at the Rangers end and his emotion said it all, went on to win the double that year and the treble the following year, And Big Mark Hateley, arrived injured and slow as a week in the jail, But give him a season to get fit and wow, big beast who put fear into defenders all over Europe, people over looked his footballing abilities and he was also fast , people saw him as a target man, but what a sweet left shot he had also, Just watch his goal against Leeds, What a strike after only 2 mins, but personally I preferred Ally's diving header, the team work from our own box to Hateleys cross and Ally's diving header at the back post, sheer joy to watch. Favourite goal from Hateley has to be his goal from a Walters cross in the league decider against the sheep, Big McLeish was lost as the cross came in and big Mark does what he does best and got his head on it to rifle it home. 1-0 Rangers and we were back in control after losing 3-0 at Motherwell a week earlier which left the sheep only needing a draw at Ibrox to win the title. Anyway that's my feelings on the great Larsson they go on about. We were spoiled for years, players like Numan, Gough, Gazza, You could also say were better than Larsson. Because he is one of them and the best they have had in many a years he must be the best according to the Celtic minded media. I would put them in the following order, 1. Laudrup 2. Gio 3. Super Ally 4.Gough 5. Hateley 6. Gazza 7. Give the magnificent 7 his place as no7 8.Butcher 9. Numan 10. Di Canio
  21. If anything make both enclosures standing, as for the rest of the stadium, I would fill in the corners and get rid of those bloody screens
  22. I should have, I went to school with him. but never a Rangers great, Rangers mad like the rest of us and got his chance and helicopter Sunday. No one can ever take helicopter Sunday away from him.
  23. Big McClelland, now theirs a blast from the past. Big honest centre half, but was very average as a player. We went from players like him to international stars within a few years. I for one never saw it coming.
  24. There can be only one captain and that's big Gough. I always thought he never got the credit he deserves. What a bloody centre half he was also.
