  1. good post mate .They would get media protection hence no bad publicity
  2. Using the freedom of information .Has anyone ever asked the GCC ,South Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire councils what the percentage of Roman Catholics as apposed to any other religion .Having dealt with them all ,it's my opinion they are all clearly using a suptle sectarian policy .Every one you speak to seems to be a beggar
  3. You hit the nail in the head mate .For the first time in my life as a bear I don't know who to believe. Its shambolic ,it's a disgrace .its a scandal that most of these people are in control of our beloved club .We slag off the Spl/Sfa but lately we are giving them a run for their money .Ive always believed in Ally and Walt but last weeks been a wake up call.I just don't have faith in any of them as much as I should at this point .Green may turn out to be the 3rd worst person to have control of our club but for me we just seem to be imploding from the inside again .As long as this investigation goes on our enemies will attack and it's causing insurmountable damage .Mistrust ,suspicion and every negative will be thrown at us .Sad thing is .Up until lately Green gave us all our hopes and answers .All of a sudden there seems a closed shop ,A not so dignified silence if you like .Just who is going to lead us forward out of this mess .Its anyone's guess which is the saddest thing of the whole situation with not one fans group agreeing on anything .Just how did it come to this .
  4. can't see the point about bitching about something like that to be honest
  5. You are indeed in the minority mate .Our club should have nothing to do with a man that stood in Liewells shadow and along with David Murray stood back in silence while our enemies circled .They didn't appeal the first Uefa singing ban and thereafter it was open season on a weak and wounded Rangers .He lined his own pockets in the early days while doing very little to defend our club while the unwashed were gathering momentum In every way possible way through strong media, political and lawful advantages .I will hate David Murray and his board just as much as Whyte for the rest of my life..In 1994 our club had everything going for it while beggars were in disarray .Fast forward to 2013 and anyone that doesn't think David Murray and his side kick arnt part of our downfall are needing their heads examined .
  6. If our club stopped conducting this soap opera through the media then we wouldn't speculate about our legends so much in a negative way .
  7. Its desperate stuff inside our boardroom at the minute it seems .Using the media especially the rebel is unforgivable IMO
  8. Cheers .Glad someone likes it mate .With all the nagativity ,thought id would try cheering some up.
  9. Check out my thread on Helicopter Sundays guys .Took me long enough to type it ffs . Hope it cheers a few of you up
  10. And don't forget chaps Rangers 4 v Beggars 0 Helicopter Sunday wins .Cant beat them for real drama
  11. Always thought Dynamo Kiev had 49 as it was mentioned in 2003 when we got the world record 50 to beat it .
  12. Will never forget as a boy growing up and being at my first Championship win. I Had just missed the 1975 win with Colin Stein's iconic header to stop beggars 10 as 'i was too young' my brother said and decided not to take me as he broke my heart. No it was the following season when i finally got to see John Greig lift the Championship and winning the league. Over the many years I've been so lucky to have witnessed us winning many more. Winning the trebles in the 70s and both those Championships 76 and 78. Winning 9 in a row 89 to 97. The one on the last day 91versus the sheep being the stand out .Wow what a day. Winning at the Scumdome 1999 .Who will ever forget this one . Has to be said though there are a few championship wins that don't stand out for me. There the ones where we usually won in a canter, 1995 if i have to name one. These are the league championship wins that are forgotten in a instant ,when there has been no challenge . Dont get me wrong .A Championship win entitles you to be called the best team in your Country . These ones never stand out though in the grand scheme of things. Thats where being a Rangers fan has been so special to so many of us. Who will ever forget where you were, when in 2003 we won the league at Ibrox to clinch our own World Record League Championships.50 being the landmark this day The drama that unfolded right in front of us .All we had to do was match or better beggars result on the very last day. How can any bear that was there that day forget how the game turned and your emotions changed every few seconds as the league seemed to be won in the early moments and by half time was back in the balance. Early in the second half the league seemed lost as our early momentum in our match seemed to have stopped. These were desperate moments as for a short spell we couldn't seem to get going. Then bang the goal went in from Ronald and we were in pole position again. There were more twists and turns before we finally clinched the Championship in the final minute. Helicopter Sunday was born......... Yes the league was so close going into the final day that there was a helicopter waiting to take the trophy to the relevant place of the team that finally won the league. Thankfully that day it was ours. Flag day was born few months later and in a packed August Sunshine we all had our miniature championship flags to celebrate our World record 50 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Its a source of great disappointment that after our next league win we never kind of copyrighted this and downsized the flags and latterly in our last win we got nowt. Down to us being skint. The beggars have since copied us.Whats the betting they claim they started this in the near future. 2005... The unforgettable Helicopter Sunday. I was on my knees on the street looking up to the heavens the moment the drama was over .My father had passed few months earlier and I was convinced after pleading with him after doing a pee in the toilet,it had done the trick . The results were not going according to plan as we required an incredible turnaround in events from Fir Park. Who will ever forget the moment when Scot McDonald equalised and bedlam ensued wherever you were. Sadly unable to get a ticket for Easter road i had to make do with the Silver Tassie in Hamilton and their big screens. I had just came out of the toilet convinced all was lost and then all hell broke loose as the miracle had happened .My first action was to run out the pub and half way up Almada street shouting GIFUY to everyone that was in the vicinity. Looking up to the heavens i thanked my Dad for giving me this special day. When i finally returned to the pub ,McDonald had banged in number two and the place was in ecstasy if you where a fan of the Glasgow Rangers. The words 'it will never ever get better than this' came from everyones lips. Think over time this will be proved to be right . Fast forward to 2009 .Another fantastic day to be a bear and another Helicopter Sunday . This time it was at Tannadice . My story started the week before when the beggars had to go to Easter road to win and take control in the last day of the Championship. Similar to the our last title win my Mum had passed and i was going through a hard time dealing with my personal loss. This day i decided to go up to Larkhall .Good Bluenose shop so i was in good hands .Most of my mates wouldn't want to watch the beggars so i was on my own . However i sensed there was something on . The whole 90 minutes seemed to last a lifetime as i was hoping the Hibs would hold out for a draw and put the destination of the title back into our hands. Incredibly they did just that .0-0 was the score and i continued my past histrionics by running about Larkhall town centre like a ten year old at Christmas . Few pints in me but i couldn't care less.I felt the title had been won . Few hours later i was crying like a baby as the emotions of my late Mum had kicked in and I was sure it was going to be a special day following Sunday. Unfortunately i couldn't get a ticket for Tannadice so the Louden at Ibrox was going to be my port of call for this showdown. It was in our hands but the previous season showed us, anything in football could happen and nothing could be taken for granted . 6minutes in and the Pub roof was coming off .Big Laff had banged in the first of three. This day will always be remembered for the famous 'you've been tangoed that the bears did on the unwashed. A coordinated wind up by happy bears had the beggars at breeze block boulevard thinking Dundee Utd had levelled after around 10minutes. At the end of the game we realised that practically the whole ground had fell for the stunt .Joyful . The game came to an end and another dramatic Championship had been secured on Helicopter Sunday with a 3-0 win in another unforgettable day . 2011 was the turn of Rugby park to have the scene of our last Helicopter Sunday. Fortunately i did get a ticket for this one and couldn't wait to be there in person this time to witness it . It was again in our hands and we blitzed Kilmarnock in an incredible first 20minutes to be 3up. Championship was won again and we partied all the way up till the helicopter arrived . So fellow bears ,hope this has put a smile on your faces . No matter what has been achieved elsewhere today at an insignificant little place in Glasgow they will NEVER NEVER EVER have the feelings we lucky bears have had over the last 10years following our beloved Rangers FC . They will kid on it means the world but in their heart of hearts it will be empty and forgotten about in months just as i had forgotten about the league we won in 95. Remember and next time a beggar gloats into your face .Remember to tell him he will never have 4 last day ,dramatic ,take to your grave ,mindblowing feelings that 4 Helicopter Sundays gives you. 2003,2005,2009 and 2011 Wouldn't swap them for 10 of the 2013 variety .
  13. Goat its seems i may have got games mixed up .It definitely wasn't the 5-1 game we lost to them .
  14. Your spot on there mate.Sure he still got sent off against us before he signed though. I remember one game up there where Ted McMinn equalised in a 1-1 draw midweek .Think it may have been this one.It was definitely early eightees Im sure.
  15. You will still be believing in David Murray and the tooth fairy then eh?
  16. Have to agree with this .Im sick fed up with good old Walt and Ally seen to be ingratiating the beggar loving media in this Country .Big Shug Keevins their old mukka from the Nine in the row days and his ilk can't do no wrong it seems .Charles hated the biased media up here,so much he gave all his interviews with Skysports and Talksport .The Rodent loving media didn't like this for me and saught ways to ambush him when they got a chance ,hence Stvs interview which was strung out over a whole week for maximum impact .We need change going forward and this means no old guard going forward .They will always be my heroes but if Ally wants the club cleansed ,let's start with the old boys network .A lot can change being a fan if the Gers it seems in the last 18months and if Green is found to have been in cahoots with Whyte then that will change everything and I'll be first to say I got it wrong .
  17. yeah Im sure he walked in a game we lost 5-1 or maybe it was another match .Certain he got a red card playing against us .
  18. That was after he played for Gers .What about Dougie bell playing for Aberdeen before he signed for us .He was crap for us mind .
  19. Agree with this .Not forgetting he helped us win battles with the Sfa /Spl cabel by standing up to them .If it went another way with say Murray in charge we could be looking at a whole different scenario .Can you imagine if that same Murray had rolled over and accepted the deal put to Rangers of not challenging stripping of titles at start of the season before the 5 way agreement .It doesn't bear thinking about .
  20. very sad that you have to talk to guys like that mate .We are all meant to be supporters of the same club
  21. If Paul Murray is anywhere near this after all the dust has settled I'm going to lose so much trust in our legends Ally and Walter .As for Murray ,the thought that this guy could manipulate this situation for his benefit by using the beggar loving media is repugnant .
  22. listening to radio coming home from match and all they did to a man was slate Charles Green .No wonder the armchair support are buying into the fact that they think every bear is against Green .The media make me so angry but you won't catch Ally ever telling them that directly which is one think that's pissing me off about him the now .
