Ha, why ask? I honestly think the sunday papers were one of the first times iv read some genuine slating of Boyd especially in the DM who said he wanted his starts, he's had 3 and he hasn't delivered. Everyone thinks the same and I suspect we will be looking at either JCD or Miller upfront, though with Novo and Beaser on the wings it could be fairly attacking!

Its another attempt by the SNP to do anything to make people think a referendum is a good thing and independence for Scotland would be great! Give us a break Salmond, if people stupidly decide to vote yes I would be out of this country asap!

I got accused of being a tim probably 3 weeks ago because I wasnt a supporter of Boyd some people do jump the gun on here but the player is slowly proving me to be correct anyways! Tho to be honest that Celtic goal is not defensible in any way, there seems a huge problem with our officials and it aint gonna change over night! They want £800 ffs PER GAME.......as if!

What it does is highlight the sheer incompetance of the officials in this country not the fact they are cheating just the fact they are unfit for their job! Thats all! I do honestly believe they all should be attending some sort of referees TRAINING summit now because this is happening all the time and only 3 weeks into the season there are at least 4 major talking points, its not on!

Because he likes to cut in side and whip a ball in, he rarely actually runs to the line and crosses I feel putting him there would be too predictable and we also lack width. I would rather have my Left sided winger on the left side of midfield utilising his good foot to supply crosses into the box away from the keeper. But i guess everyone has a different opinion!

Walter Smith refused to start Kris Boyd in a series of matches last season questioning his value to the team in certain times and situations and he was slated for doing so. Boyd to his credit still managed to finish as the top goalscorer for the team...again. There has basically been a demand from the Rangers support, well a majority of them at least, in which to have Boyd starting in the SPL games this season and so far he has failed to deliver. A penalty aside there hasnt been much to his game other than a waste of a lot of posession and a lot of misplaced passes. He is clearly lacking confidence and possibly fitness and to drop the lad will probably do him much more harm than good but can we afford to labour through games with him up front in case he might get his goal? I have a feeling Smith is possible trying to prove a point so that when it comes to him dropping Boyd....most likely next week against Celtic.....people may also agree but to do so the team needs to score goals in which to warrant that decision. There are certainly options out there with Velicka, JCD and Lafferty all out of the team today so it will be interesting to see who he selects up front next week. There is also the option of Miller who has yet to play up front the SPL this season but as we know he is unlikely to set the fires ablaze. Smith probably knew by playing Boyd it was a double edged sword, he would either be the crucial goalscorer in the first few games or he would fall away in each of the games. A headflick and penalty he never won aside he is a player contributing little and I worry for us if he is continuing to start games but I suspect we wont see him until Kilmarnock at home at the earliest now.

I was meaning in the selection of Smith today.....not in the selection I would probably have had today!

Though does anyone agree with me here............... Miller on the Right and Davis on the Left from the start? Im pretty sure we had Davis play there a few games last season when required and think that would have helped....especially in Millers contribution. All in all im sure DaMarcus was fine to start and should have. We have waited ages to get him back fit and now he is we dont start him

the most worrying aspect of this is that was a VERY POOR central defence in front of Jamie Langfield today, I dont think there was really much of an excuse tbh!

He tracked back, took the ball off mendes....played it out the park trying to pass it!

So are we allowed to criticise him if we do attend the games? Means im fine to have my go!

He's started the first 3 SPL games FFS how many more does he need? i see your point but if wayne rooney dosnt score for manchester in 3 games he dosnt get ditched Lmao thats a bit different.....Rooney actually has ability, he doesnt score loads of goals but he has other elements to his game that are useful!
