ESPN died for anyone else?

Just repaired my PC, not updated news in a while. Good effort keeping it going. Saturdays picks - Rampage, Nelson, Browne, Story, Johnson, Stann, Boetsch, Tibau, McDonald and Escovedo. Not too many relevant fights, but looking at the main card it should be exciting. All these guys like to throw hands and finish fights.

I grew up during 9iar, seen some world class players pull on the famous jersey. In my eyes he was a legend already. Since his return, he has transformed us with his experience and love for the club. Through the most traumatic period in my time as a fan, we have almost won three titles in a row, as well as taking us to a european final. I struggle to think of another manager that could have achieved this. Carrying himself with dignity and respect, he has been a credit to our great club. Thank you Walter, we owe you a lot. If we win the league, It will be a great achievement. I will tell my kids about the legend that is Walter Smith, Rangers manager. Statue? you won't get an argument from me.

Just seen this, seems Karma is coming back to bite Rashad's ass. First, Shogun gets injured. Instead of taking another fight, Rashad opts to sit out and wait, because he doesn't want to put his #1 contender status at risk. Then, Evans gets injured, allowing Jones to fight for and win the strap. THEN Bones gets injured, meaning Rashad has to face Phil Davis, a dangerous test who could maybe steal the contender spot. KARMA.

I have never seen the big deal with belfort, maybe when he was roided up, but seems to be rediculously overhyped to me. Still dangerous, don't get me wrong, but you would think he was the White Tyson the way some talk. That said, Akiyama refuses to fight to his strength, judo, and does have a hell of a chin, so you may be right.

Student of the art, nice. On the GSP fight, I don't think Shields has the power to KO him with a hail mary a la Serra. Matt Serra has some quality power, whereas Shields throws soft punches, more to get close for the takedown than anything. His footwork and head movement are also poor, but fighters improve, so you never know. Shields definitely has some dangerous moves on the ground, I just cant see the fight ever going there. GSP uses great footwork to avoid the clinch, and he will pick away at shield's head with straight accurate punches as he works for the takedown. Don't think we will see many kicks from GSP, he will want to avoid being taken down at all costs, being the safety first fighter he seems to have become. Good news on Mayhem joining the UFC, always an entertaining guy. Hope we will see a rematch of the Shields fight at some point, that was a quality grappling based fight. A match between Rich Franklin and Little Nog has been announced for UFC 133, along with Akiyama vs Belfort and Hallman vs Ebersole. Sakara - Rivera and Fukuda - Natal also planned. Seems that the BBC have inside info of some sort, as their reporting points the finger at Gers fans as the only possible suspects. The only 'evidence' they have is that these things happened a couple of days after the OF game. Have I missed something, arrests, evidence, suspects maybe? Methinks they should shut the fuck up. You train at all mate? As far as Diaz vs Daley, i reckon the stoppage was just, but when Diaz faceplanted I dont think i would have complained if the fight was stopped then. Bad luck for Semtex. Pretty sure Daley himself agreed with the decision after rewatching it. Looking forward to the next card, some great fights. Shields has nothing for GSP imo, will look like the koschek fight. Shields stand up is total mince, and when did you last see GSP taken down? I dont think he will stop him, Jake has a good chin (took a hendo overhand right and still dominated) GSP will avoid the ground game and jab his face to mince. Think Aldo vs Hominick will be a belter, but wont go more than 2. Hominick will need to come out firing. He has very good stand up, good technique and power. Aldo by sub.

This is a fucking shambles of the highest order. Takeover? Tax case? UEFA ban? Board blocking takeover? How did we end up in such a sorry state. Some people have a lot to answer for, im almost worried everytime i come on here as all that seems to go on is bad news and false alarms. We NEED to hear from the club. Tell us something, anything. We are being kept in the dark, its OUR club, and its unfair IMO. At least we can take solace in the fact that the team is at the top of the league. Long may it continue
