Doesn’t seem to offer much of a goal threat this season in the way he did last. Lawrence seems to have a goal threat in comparison. I’d start him Wednesday but it’s a big game for him.

Will say something for Dessers. His movement is decent and he never stops getting into goal scoring positions. Doesn’t hide.

The finishing here is a shambles man. Not one who’s been excited by Shankland but if he’s been playing here he’s scored a couple of goals and the games done.

We are crying out for a new midfield. I have to hope Raskin is the answer for one of the 2 roles but I’m really not sure. Said earlier I think a ball playing midfielder improves 3 or 4 around him.

A lot of our fans don’t seem to think it’s priority. But we are crying out for a centre midfielder to control a game and make some passes. It would improve so many around the park.

Lad I know was in La Manga on a golf trip. Staying in same hotel as players and said it’s been madness. Apparently Clement and Alex Rae played Padel tennis against two supporters this morning and when they couldn’t take getting smashed, they gave Clement and Rae all sorts of abuse including calling them the Mitchell brothers. Clement has then took his anger out on the referee today which is why he’s been sent off. Also on the first night Dessers stole Bisgroves robe and trunks while he was in the showers. Had to run to his room in the buff and he’s fuming about it all. Whole thing is a shit show.

Sometimes you need to admit a goal against us is a good goal and Kyogo’s was yesterday. Shows good movement and Goldson thinks he’s going in behind, he comes short and scored a worldie when it’s no more than a half chance.

Scott wright still being played in these games sums up where we are as an attacking force. Should be nowhere near the club let alone being played in big games.

All is not lost there today. Games about taking chances and they did. If anything today has gave me more confidence we can go and win the league given a few injuries back and some signings in.

Never understood the talk he’s not a proper captain. Guy steps up with big moments time and time again. Deserves every bit of success he gets.

Both were great today. Sterling’s athleticism is such a good asset to have in the squad. Still think we need a properly centre mid who can dictate games and has a better range of passing than both.

When will we as a fan base ever learn to stop getting ahead of ourselves. Got people talking about games in hand and going into the game against them X amount of pints behind.
