I Can't Get Used To Being Treated Like A Superstar By Ranger
Laudrup1984 replied to Ace's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
He's fantastic. We're fantastic. Life is fantastic! It must be a truly amazing feeling to be treated like a god by thousands upon thousands of fans. The pull factor of our club, history, facilities and support is massive and if no one wants to be a part of it then they must be fucking nuts! We don't ask for much. Just work hard, train hard, play with honour and give it your all. If you happen to be technically pretty good on top of that then your life will never be the same again. You see and hear it from all our current and ex players how huge we are and what an honour it is play for us. That added belief and confidence we can give players should never be underestimated. To feel wanted and highly regarded will just make Tav and the lads even more confident. This really feels like a special part in our history and although it's still early days it's fucking brilliant! Every game, every interview, every day there's always something new bringing smiles to our faces! -
I love how Warburton's sole focus is always on us, how we apply ourselves and what we do. Quite rightly we would learn nothing watching last season's debacles in my opinion. Onwards and upwards and always looking forward. Young Geds is so refreshing. Incredible belief and confidence in his own ability without any hint of arrogance. Great to see. He'll have a fantastic career in my opinion. Seems very focused and in control of his own destiny.

What Would You Ask Stuart Mccall?
Laudrup1984 replied to The Louden Tavern's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Out with Hardie, Walsh, Murdoch etc youngsters who have already had some first team exposure, does you think there are any other youngsters we've maybe not quite seen that you believe will make the breakthrough? Do you think Murdoch will get back into the fold and become an integral part of our squad? Was it easier having the demands of being a Rangers player or Rangers manager? Would you do anything different during your managerial reign? Any regrets? -

RANGERS manager Mark Warburton has confirmed the Ibrox club have secured a loan deal for Arsenal kid Gedion Zelalem. Speaking after today's 1-0 win over Hibs, the Ibrox boss revealed that 18-year-old midfielder Zelalem will commence training with his new team-mates on Monday after finally signing the deal that will see him remain in Glasgow until January. Warburton was thrilled to have landed the youngster after facing competition from English Champinship sides Fulham and Charlton and said: "He was watching the game today in the stand. "He will be training with us tomorrow and will be part of the squad. "I am delighted to get hold of him. I would like to welcome him on board. "He is another young, very talented player."

I agree. McKay put in a few good corners, most notably Waghorn's free header (drilled type corner) and Miller's fresh air kick (low corner). We also worked it a few times to get crosses from better angles, retain possession, expose their full backs and set up shots from outside the box. Of course we messed a few up. they didn't all work and we got caught out a few times. It's clearly a work in progress but it certainly beats aimlessly throwing it into the box like previous seasons or even worse, not beating the first man!

Great save again from big Wes. His shot stopping. his sweeping up and alertness, and his handling and collection of crosses are really impressive. His kicking isn't too bad either when he takes his time however sometimes he just seems too eager to get the ball forward and keep up/increase the tempo. I think he will develop into a top keeper for us although he does give us a few scary moments........... -

Cheers mate Stubbs told Hibs TV: "It's very easy when you've got money to spend to bring in much better players than what was there at the start." Warburton said in reply: "Clearly it must be easy managing Real Madrid and Man United then, I guess. "I would suggest that any manager without the facts keeps his mouth shut and concentrates on his club and not worry about our club. That's the key point. "Right now we are very respectful to every other club and manager, and unless you know any facts that I don't know, concentrate on your own team. "I know what we have spent and that's a complete fallacy."

I've not heard or read such interview on an official capacity but twitter is awash with the following, and god I hope it's accurate. Go tell 'em Warbs..... Mark Warburton on Alan Stubbs 'easy job' comment: "Any manager without the facts should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his own club"

Betfair have Oduwa 11-5, McKay 21-10, Holt 13-5 to score anytime. Will be adding them to some accumulators...........
