I always find it amusing, personally, when the doubts and inuendoes about Green have dried up to the point where he is the "puppet of Ahmad"! That little fecker seems to control everything.....

I find it hard to think of anyone not viewing these points objectively. I would advocate a "basic" lower salary with performance related bonuses for sure, like a player with a win bonus, but a 700K+ Salary is just not acceptable where we are. Yes ally is now aparently going to take a pay cut but it should have been done last year when we were in the cr@p from the start. The board could join ranks too, maybe a 20% cut amongst the lot of them until we rise the ranks, 5% per year for promotion and getting into Europe. This is not about Ally, if it was PLG we would have been f*cking apoplectic by now! We know super will never lose our love and he will always have it, but to say your with the team and the fans and taking this much money from our cash reserves for a team not in major competitions is a ludicrous thing. I don't care if he was given it by the board, that arguement does not wash, he knew the board could not afford to lose the man who would not walk away, it would have been a PR disaster of epic proportions! We need to wake up and start seeing who is getting what and why.

Althought it seems to be a prelude to "we are getting into financial trouble again" (with no accounts we should not jump to conclusions), it is a gesture I am afraid that was well overdue. When we went to the bottom of the league the wages should have been slashed and Ally's was one of the top ones for the hit. No need to get all defensive of Ally but his pay should be a lower level rate with performance related bonuses (like getting us into a few rounds of the cups, may make him concentrate a tad more), not as guaranteed salary so high. Let's face it, he is not a banker.

Without going into character assassination here as I do not know the man, however he is a pivotal point of scorn and hatred amongst many bears and maybe we can see the answer in his ability to speak "for the club support" when he has so few members. Many supporters see him as an odious little man, little better than the tabloid hacks that have badgered us over the last couple of years. If he did have the best intentions of the club he may see he is a divisive character, bit like PM, and it would be best to find an apprentice to take up the media mantle for him.

The people that call us a new club or sing about us are not of the people, does their opinion ever matter? Has it ever mattered? Screw them over on the park that's all we need to do and that will sort the problem out.

I think we all agree we love ally to the hilt, he is one of the greatest Ranger ever, however his managerial abilities are becoming something of a joke and is putting a downer on our memory of the legend that is Coisty. It hurts us to see him go this way but he is going to have to go at some stage and hopefully soon, his team have no ideas, he has no ideas and his pay packet is something Nasa would bulk at for the product on display. if we are going to keep him make him the public face of the club instead of JT but helped by JT, that would work, of course on less wages ;-)

The point here is that a position is performance related, the position is lost as it has been going on for a long time now. the apprentice listened to the master too long when what we need and demand now is fluid football with young guys and some experience giving it the right old romp. We are meant to be building a legacy here not getting into our pay as you go wonga deal cr@p! buy now pay later routine is for the last decade.

Don't care what they think, I care what the law and the governing bodies of football think. I expect windups from opposition fans, this is not a new thing, has happened for a few years. The sooner we get back TBB with a proper "replacement" line the better.
