  1. Your own fault for living in Venice mate .... just saying like ... πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  2. Amazing what we all take for granted .... the old school who have taken care of our stadium ... our players .... their laundry and to an extent their wellbeing. Surrogate Mum's to all of our past and present heroes .... unsung heroines for most of their time by the general support yet they carried out their duties without a murmur. Without them the standards would just be standards ... but with them the standards become alive and more important than ever. Tiny was the epitome of these standards in her own way and it is with heavy heart a sad day to hear of her passing .... she will be sadly missed. Deepest condolences to her family and friends. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  3. Just donated. What a wonderful response Ben's GoFund page has received from everyone who knew him and all who "cyber knew" him. Well done especially to psb07158 for organising everything so well ..... Top Man. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  4. Good breakdown mate. I am also a Hagi fan for his skill and his positional sense in the final third and occasional welcome goal threat .... but as you say his lack of pace is a major drawback to his game in the helter skelter of Scottish football. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  5. You are not the first and won't be the last mate ..... I got what you meant and I was also at that tragic game .... and thank my lucky stars I got home safely that day. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  6. Mind Matters section is now dedicated .... In loving memory of ben51 πŸ’™ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  7. Yeah ..... that Wan Guy strikes again. Secretly on loan form the scum I presume? πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  8. Good post mate ..... thought for a moment Reformation Bear had nicked your phone there .... you are generally more concise .... I totally agree with all you said and hope it comes to pass for all the right reasons you pointed out. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  9. That dirty wee twat Newell's foul on TC was what was disrespectful mate. The way Todd cushioned that ball was sublime and shows what a talented player he is ..... hope he stays fit and sends us to heaven with more of his forward thinking abilities. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  10. I can only just imagine the pain and anguish his family and friends must be going through at this time .... including all on RM ... but I do feel a wee bit shell-shocked at Ben's sudden demise and I never met him other than on here. Sincerest condolences to all who new him on a personal level is so not enough .... as words just don't cover the pain of loss. At least Ben is at peace now and for that we must be truly thankful. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  11. I agree mate, I think that most of our players have been guilty of being lazy off the ball mate ... yesterday's game and the team's performance was down to the way the manager wants to play now .... and the players seem to have taken his intentions onboard .... hopefully it is lasting as they have all been notified that they have been given a new lease of life by PC and don't revert back to past under achievements. I thought that Sima deserved the MOTM yesterday but wasn't surprised when they announced Raskin for the honour ..... how things change when the team get a good all round result. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  12. Good post mate ..... Hopefully the team now get into a winning state of mind after a very good all round performance yesterday .... Dessers was unlucky not to score more and his overall performance was much more acceptable too. Onwards and upwards. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  13. Sincere condolences to Bobby's family and friends ..... one of the best players I ever saw .... an immense talent and he would be worth an absolute fortune if he were playing in todays game ... Sad news indeed. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  14. Sad when they pass on Scotty .... and as you say we were spoiled with the mostly home grown talent back then that we had the privilege to see in the flesh. They have left us with great memories mate .... Harold was a proper hard case and a proper war hero too. GBNF all of them. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  15. He also looks like a masked Mexican wrestler. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  16. "The proof of the pudding is in the eating" ...... he sounds like a winner .... he looks like a determined person .... his previous record with other clubs is actually verifiably pretty good. On the whole he talks well and has said all the right things .... but we have all heard that story before ..... so all he needs to do now is just get it done on the park . Whether he can dramatically turn things around with this present squad is another thing ..... I don't know if the support will allow him the time .... but if he manages to gradually improve things .... then I'm sure we will give him the time to do so. I do hope he does the business and ends our dismal run of form .... and that the board have finally got it right this time. Welcome To The Rangers Philipe Clement .... you have everything to prove .... and everything to lose mate .... good luck. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  17. After seeing what happened to Fernando ..... You have to give him credit for this unselfish act of kindness .... Super and Kenny Logan among the lads who cycled Β± 700 miles to put funds into Doddie's MND charity to find a cure for this soul destroying disease is worthy of a wee clap on the back to say the least. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  18. That's the spirit mate .... always maintain your sense of humour .... as Greavesy used to say ... "It's a funny old game". πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  19. Probably one of the best posts and remedially therapeutic advice you could give anyone mate. The effect of last night's results is so near the last straw for many .... and an absence of deep feeling would be unnatural. I'm "fortunate" in that I have been in and around all the good and the bad times .... since the very early 50's ....and now find myself hardened to the situations that are now causing so much real concern for us as a support .... but totally understand and empathise with Colin and anyone else feeling the way he does right now and hope to see him back on here soon. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  20. Sincerest condolences to Sir Alex and his family and friends at this sad time. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  21. So glad he beat this ... but not surprised .... he did the same with his positive attitude to many defences .... unbeatable Michael Mols. Well done and speedy recovery Michael and thank you for the good news. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  22. These people make me proper sick ..... Three poxy years ?...... What about the over a century of all leagues in Scotland that our Club's support alone has helped with indirect sponsorship then? Come here and get what they wanted and the first time they are rightfully challenged .... they run like the wind ..... good riddance. But blame The Rangers for spoiling it all ..... that sounds so familiar .... πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  23. Good post mate. That sums it up for me also ... no illusions at all .... but still think we have a chance to turn it around now that MB has left as this has cleared the air somewhat .... though still a lot to do. Also this squad of players must now know that they have to buck up and fast as the support will no longer tolerate the mediocracy that has brought us to this horrible position. Feeling more positive about tomorrow now and hope I'm not wrong .... If Davis and Co can steady the ship until the inevitable new guy comes in then there is a way forward. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  24. Top post mate. I know the game has changed drastically over the years ... especially the amount of different nationalities now being in the majority in our team. Although they are young and untried ..... it's quite encouraging when you look at the interim management team that they are all Rangers men from birth and know what's required of them. Really hope they do well and get the results we badly need .... no easy task for them I know .... but we have to be positive and hope for the best. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
