Who would you get to replace him?

If Murty is now talking about signing players for next year, does that mean he has been given an indication that he could still be in charge next year?

Back when Eric Caldow first got into the side, he was criticised because "he never gets his breeks dirty" and he was a full-back. John White wa slated playing for Scotland for "never being in the game". Too many Scottish fans only appreciate the "Blood and Thunder" type of player and ignore those who actually have a bit of class. Both Windass and Morelos have time to improve.

Morelos misses as many chances as Windass, many of them a lot easier (usually headers) but does not get the same criticism. Personally, I like both and hope we can hang onto them for at least another season.

The good thing about the upcoming OF game is that their stand-in keeper would not have made the saves McLaughlin made today. Murty has to tell them to shoot any chance they get.

Whether or not you rate Murty, he is our manager and will be for the rest of the season (unless he really fucks up) so let's get behind him and the team. EVERY game is a big test for any Rangers' manager.

I never said McCrorie was not a good prospect but, how often has he represented his country? A player who has captained his country, albeit at youth level, is a better prospect. As for the Scott Brown comment, as previously explained, this is what is known as hyperbole, a literary contrivance.

He has done more than McCrorie as regards representing his country. Once he has shown it on the pitch, he is no longer "a prospect".

Rossiter has already had international experience and has captained England u16's. He is still the best prospect we have. Ffs, he is getting more vitriol on here than Scott Brown gets.

A lot depends on who they finally get as a manager. Will he continue to pick players like Scott Brown? If so, our players will need to be outstanding to be selected. I agree with you that we should have players in the Scotland team. I can remember when the whole left side of the Scotland team were Rangers. And Scotland were reasonably successful in these days.

I was referring to the assertion that Rangers' players would be selected for Scotland. It is like the EU, all we are good for is our money. Our travelling support keep the rest going.

Are you forgetting the two sitters Morelos missed in the 1st half? Their keeper was not getting to either if they were on target. As to their "excellent" chances, Fod stopped them which is what he is paid to do. So yes, 2-0 flatters them.
