We may be in the process of losing a huge chunk of a generation of young guys who would,automatically,have followed the Gers. Why would you turn up week in,week out to watch the shit on offer if you hadn't been doing it for years and the habit had been formed? I know we must grasp at any straws but all this talk about the EGM solving our ills is bull. We need 12+(?) players to replace the dross that will,hopefully,be punted at the end of the season.(that's in 4/5 months time!!) We need a whole new coaching team and the old ones paid off. We need a full Ibrox again(every week) but with confidence and trust issues this will be hard to achieve. I can see us still in the Championship next season(wouldn't be all bad?) but I can also see us being mid-table for a year or so when we do make it back to the PL and I'm not sure if the fans(esp. us older ones!) will be able to accept that scenario. IMO,we're nowhere near exiting these woods. Fuck,I'm depressed!!

Yep,I agree that all of that is part of the overall mess we find ourselves in. The tactics under McCoist set us back decades. We have played many semi-pro teams over the last 3 years that have looked fitter than our lot(even the ones whose guys had already worked a shift that day!). But,players who can't find a colleague from 5 yards away, who can't do the basics like mark a player at corners/frees, who can't keep the ball down under the crossbar when shooting from distance and who can't make the keeper work from close range due to miss-hitting the ball(Boyd,Clark,Shiels,Daly etc) can not be classed as top notch players. I agree every player that McCoist brought in has regressed but I think they have now gone so far there is no way back.

We play him, I'm guessing ,so we have someone to punt the ball to..............yet he refuses to jump. He can't score, gets repeatedly caught offside, and is pushed off the ball far too easily. Man short.
