What about all of the players that would no longer be part of a team? If you're merging 4 teams, and just take the starting 11. That's 44 players, minus 11 for the new team, that's 33 players without a job.

On the flipside, he's 31 now and he's finally realising his dream of playing in the EPL. People have to remember that Cousin is an outsider from France and that he probably wont really see Hull City as this dreary club like we do. To him, it's a club that will give him the platform of playing against the likes of Ronaldo, Robinho and Deco. I can see this from his angle and i respect his decision. Yeah I agree. He might also see Hull as another stepping stone to move to bigger club in the EPL, he's more likely to get noticed by people in that league if he's playing in it. Good luck to him.
