Its definitely SAT 14th. I have been in touch with Rangers charity foundation, who confirmed it. I got an email back on friday to say that it was passed to their armed forces contact who would be sorting out tickets etc and hopefully be in touch soon. As of today still not heard anything,,, and looking unlikely now at this stage that I will be able to get personnel off duty (inc myself) to attend at such short notice if they do get back to me. 😞

If come across it .. are they same fit as this season? Was actually wondering if the top I have has been mislabelled. I usually get the large for me and the medium for the mrs. When I am into my running etc I get away with the medium no problem and will sometimes borrow hers. This one I got feels more like a med,,, and noticed its got USA med on the label EUR large,,, just wondered if it was a fuck up, If not then its the smallest large I have had in a gers top. Thankfully I have kept up the gym and training tho so fits ok.

Never managed to grab a top last year. Live down by Newcastle and dont remember even seeing them on sale here. Also never managed to get up the road last year due to work. Thing is if a bid like that from a club like that did come in,,, then if we just knocked it back he may well just down tools and not be the same player anyway. We would be effectively blocking a dream move for a young up and coming player. He is the best player in this backwater by a country mile. Lets just enjoy him while he is here because I think its only a matter of time before someone comes in for him. He is the one player we have who honestly has class about him,, not just in his goals but his first touch ,, his strength and actual footballing ability are miles ahead of most around him. I think he will go on and make a real name for himself if he gets the right club in his next move. A move to a club in La Liga I think would be the best for him,, language wise and playing style. I can see a young aguero in him lol . At least a 100 mil dembele dollars as well lol.

Had he scored he would have been MOTM all day long,,, his link up play and strength in creating stuff up there on his own was second to none, and he was just really unlucky 2nite,,, I only wish we had someone of his quality in a midfield role creating chances and we would be running away with things the way they are the now. Turned out to be great player,, but holy fuck that first season and some of the blunders he did,,, was always terrified when he got the ball that he was going to pass back to another attacker and let him in,, did it a couple of times. Once he got over it and got his confidence tho it was night n day. But those early days,, i was a new RAF recruit at my first unit and kept fucking up, getting caught out drinking it up and such when i was supposed to be in training,,, earned me the nickname from a Scottish JNCO as LAC amoruso lol.

Its still fairly busy,,, although that could be down to a lot of runners in for the marathon. Just wanted to let you all know that I completed the run ,,, and got back to the hotel in time to catch the Rangers game today as well. Honestly it was the first thing I did as soon as I got back,, cracked open a can or two of the local Beer and logged in to Badger Loyal,,, even before I let friends and family know I was back and done lol,, what a game too. Was really hot one out here today,,, 24 Degrees and probably higher at times with the glare coming off the Danube. Was a little slower than my prev full Marathon 3 yrs ago, so came in at 4hr 46min. Pleased at least to get under five in the conditions. In hindsight I dont think letting the mrs come along and drag me around the first two day sight seeing helped lol,,, we clocked up 9 miles on Friday alone wandering in and out of places on both sides of the Danube. I was probably the only runner the day that started with blisters lol. Anyway,,, big big thank you to all of you for support. Made me really proud to call myself a Rangers fan when total strangers will chip in to help the Armed Services,,, no other club like us. WATP
