Is it any coincedince we started playing better football and scoring more goals when lee mcculloch wasn't in the side last year? He is far too slow at getting back for a holding mid and very rarely breaks up the play which a holding midfielder should be doing. I'm not a massive fan of edu but at least he gets about the park and closes things down. Mcculloch is the root problem of most of our failings when it comes to passing, tackling and has no creativity whatsoever. Towards the back end of last year them team were in fantastic form freescoring and solid defensively without mcculloch.
