  1. A lot of the guys at Sky seems to have a lot of time for Warburton though. Seems a lot of Brentford fans have a lot of time for Warburton. Much wailing and shouting on the Brentford forums about losing him, as they have basically been crap since their chairman decided that Magic Hats style of play was not for him. Their loss is our gain.
  2. You will have to watch the replay of Sports Saturday to see Dowie & Co's comments on the article. The article was shown 50 minutes in to the program. To be honest the comments from Dowie and a former Brentford player only confirm what we already know, that our manager is the consummate professional, a great man manager who preaches attacking, entertaining football, and is basically a very nice man.
  3. Most enjoyable report and very favourable comments from the studio guests including Ian Dowie and Tony Cottee. It is amazing the difference between an English produced report on Rangers and a Scottish one. Talk about Ying & Yang.
  4. I will check it out. Sorry to go off topic but I remember a classic debate he had with listeners on the merits of a piece and fish fingers. Top class radio IMHO.
  5. Good to know. I have not listened to Talksport since they took Big Parry off air. I remember the Big Man doing a cracker of a BJK while I was driving home one night. Nearly crashed the car.
  6. He will soon change his tune once the Celtic fans discover his home address or where his kids attend school.
  7. The eternal pessimist in me (it happens to everyone if you support Rangers too long) reminds me that it is a cup game, on a plastic pitch, on a horrible day weather wise while we are on a straight winning run that we all know will come to an end eventually. Therefore we should not be overly confident of success. That being said, as long as we play as we can then it should be a fairly comfortable night. Airdriebankunitedonians will work like Trojans to nullify our game, but they will tire later in the game, and if we have not already done so we should be able to kill them off with a few goals.
  8. Hope none of the Malmo players lost a stud from his boots or else Ra Sellick will be demanding reinstatement at Malmo's expense.
  9. I have W10 and am quite happy with it so far , however there is an inordinate number of processes running. My rig is strictly for gaming so I would be grateful if any Techeads out there could advise on how to trim down W10 so that it is optimised for a gaming PC
  10. Better believe it. I was trying to be ironic however I must now limit myself to saying that if if that is all Hivs have to offer this year then I am not too worried about the prospect of promotion this year.
  11. While I do not like them very much I think that we should have some sympathy for Hibs. They tried their best today but we're still defeated by a Rangers team that did not play as well as expected.
  12. Given that by our recent standard of performance we were poor today against Hivs, there may well be a reaction on Wednesday night. If I was a betting man I would be looking at Rangers handicapped by 4.
  13. The sign of a good team is the ability to win games when you are playing poorly.
  14. A win is a win is a win. While it would have been nice to thrash them, that will do for me
  15. Given the head of steam we have built up I reckon that it would take something very dramatic to occur to prevent us from winning this game. While I would love to see an annihilation, I will be perfectly happy with a close victory. Performance is important, result is essential.
  16. OK, maybe saying that they caused us so much problems was a little much. However it was not quite the walkover against them that many were anticipating, if it had not been for Thomson's conversion over the roof of the Broomie the outcome of the game against them might have been a lot different.
  17. 90 minutes of my life wasted watching that. The poor ball must be in intensive care following the battering up and down the park it took. How St Boo were able to cause us so much problems is a mystery, and as for Morton, on that showing they will be fighting it out with Alloa to avoid relegation.
  18. Good advert for the replica jersey on RTV. Pity nobody is buying it until a new deal is done with Sports Direct.
  19. Careful, such things are considered offensive now. Some poor wee Hibee might be upset at the insinuation he is a heroin user. He could be a Coke snorter.
  20. If he played for any other Club then the Scottish Fitba community would have been waxing lyrical about him being a breath of fresh air in our game. Fair play to Danny Lennon who defended him ahainst the accusations of his players. As for piss takes, no where near as 'insulting' as Kanchelskis standing on the ball against Ayr. That was a piss take.
  21. Trying to make the point that nothing other than a win at The Stadium beats a win at The Piggery. Sorry if mentioning anything Septic upsets you.
  22. Although the idea that Bears could enjoy being present at any time at that cesspit I have to admit that I have had a couple of my best experiences of My Bluenose career at that place. The Cup Final against Aberdeen and Wee Nacho's cheeky lob will forever live in the memory. Although we despise the place it is second in the world as a venue to win a football match. Any memories of fellow Bears of happy days at The Piggery would be appreciated. DWSCIH. Cyber pint to the first to decipher my abbreviation.
  23. It is all down to confidence. Watery Farts are simply carrying on from where they left off last season. They might not be the best team in the league but they believe they are. If we can build the same level of confidence combined with a far better squad and manager then we will be unstoppable in the league this year.
