I agree. You'll probably get a lot of replies pointing out we don't have Ronaldo Bale and James.... but the system is probably the strongest in football right now. We tried it last season but Ally has no clue how to play it, wingers were way to deep. Need the 3 to interchange, rotate a lot and stay close to the striker (Aird/Gallagher, McKay, Templeton could do this pretty well imo) someone to sit and play simple passes to keep possesion ticking over (probably Black when he was actually a good player) and a versatile , more gifted midfielder to dictate tempo and get forward (Macleod) We'll need a new right back (similar to Wallace) and a more solid defence as well. Most of all though to do it we'll need a tactician that will actually play the formation right , and not as a flat 4411

There's a couple issues though: - Prospects at big clubs will be on way higher wages than the frees we're going for, even if it's City, Barca or Real they'd probably rather not pay his wages while he's away. - Most importantly, say you have a promising young player, why on earth would you send him here ? to a club stuck in the 90's managed by Ally McCoist , where the player will be trained by Kenny McDowall and Ian Durrant .

First time round he had a lot of really good midfield players as well as Miller to serve him. Not to devalue his worth first time round, but it just supports the point that if we aren't creative enough to provide for him we're as good as playing with 10 at times.

The wages thing is really bothering me. I really don't want this to become a personal thing with ally , I'd love to keep this strictly about his ability to take the club forward but if he's to stubborn to see he's just all wrong for us and keeps us in a corner like this because we can afford to pay him off I personally will struggle to keep it strictly based on ability.

Op is spot on. It's nothing short of devastating. Can't even manage to be angry anymore, the arse has been ripped out the club in just about every way. When we went down I was certain the good times would come again and we'd go even further and be even stronger than we have in the past, but I just don't know anymore - I really don't .
