Garners service yesterday was terrible, u could hear him screaming for the ball and getting more and more frustrated as the game went on for not getting it quickly enough. There was a point in the 2nd half where he gave windass a mouthful for not giving him it when he had made a good run down the line. We need wingers who will beat a man and get a cross in, wingers that will switch sides with each other but the middle man needs service.

Was saying to my old man yesterday I thought something looked no right with the pitch, a few passes seemed to hold up and wes misjudged a few balls back to him that he thought was going quicker than it turned out to be.

I think with the form of our current wingers he deserves a run of games to see if he can offer us something. There's some ability there but unfortunately I think his legs move too quick for his brain. When the crowd are on the teams back he does seem to disappear.

Mckay was dreadful yesterday and should've been the 1st player off the park, every time he got the ball the game stopped dead. He's reluctant to track back and always gets caught out will the full back sneaking round the back of him. For whatever reason his confidence is gone and he needs to be taken out the firing line.

Ok, since Barton has got here his performances have been below par, not what was hoped or expected. Halliday has lost his place in the team to him so he maybe feels slightly aggrieved that the person doing analysing and telling home truths isn't in the best place to do so, he therfore replies with a few home truths himself....situation escalates. Barton is in no position to be slating anyone if he can't take a retort.

I'm going with the reports at the start of this thread from apparent people in the know. Like everyone on here we are all assuming he said this, and he done that, but 1 thing I am clear on that Warburton is not an idiot and he feels joey needs time away from the team for either himself or the sake of the team then I back that 100%.

Ok look at it this way, if a player has a virus he's asked to stay away from the rest of the players until such time the illness is cleared.....in this case joey is the virus and he's spreading through the team, a cancer in the team will kill us eventually!!! I back Warburton 100% on this and I'm sure Warburton doesn't just send folk home for the sake of it, lets be realistic and actually open our eyes to the fact that he must've been totally out of order or he would still be training.

How is it bad management? Assaulting another work colleague is a sackable offence in every line of work!!! I'm not sure why we need a contingency plan?? Regardless of how big a name or player he is, he'll be brought back down to earth by being treated the same as everyone else. This isn't a crisis it's a bust up which happens in most football teams around the world. Barton isn't alien to a bust up as well, he's had them before with ousmane dabo (i think he done time for this) and shearer.

Why do we need to know anymore than he's been sent home for an altercation with a team mate??? Last season we were praising Warburton for not giving the press anymore than they need to know and now coz we're all nosey bastards we want to know the exact details. He's been sent home and not playing on Saturday simple as that, Warburton not saying anything won't have the slightest effect on the result on Saturday, fans getting on his back and the teams back will.

We don't need to wash our dirty laundry in public just coz we want to know what's going on, dealing with it in house is the best way to deal with it. If we start spouting off to the media joey will do the same and makes us look even more like twats after Saturdays shite.

That depends on the performances and if he ever learns which he keeps saying they will. 2nd place was probably the most realistic target but if performances and results threaten that then he won't see the January transfer window.
