*****Official Rangers v Falkirk match thread*****
Ross-Gazza genius replied to Tiger Shaw's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Why are soo many saying they would start forrester??? He doesn't look fit yet and he's only played about 40 mins in total, it would be too big a risk to start someone who hasn't had much game time recently! Wes,Tav,Kiernan,Wilson,Wallace,Ball,Law,Holt,Mckay,Miller,Waghorn I'm sure Warburton has already said Holt is fit and trained today. -
If this is a booking and a sending off then old firm games will be abandoned in future!!! Players get hyped up in the adrenaline and ecstasy of winning and scoring, if we try to take this out of football then we stand to loose everything that footballs about. We want to see the emotion and passion from our players on the park it's what makes us want to come back, it gives us that connection with the players that let's us know we are all there doing our best for the club. SHAMBOLIC DECISION
-
I'm not convinced with zelalem, we have 3 playing in the centre of midfield all operating different jobs, a defensive midfielder, box to box midfielder and a no.10. Zelalem is not a defensive midfielder, hes too lazy and doesn't tackle to be a box to box midfielder and Holt is playing better in the no.10 role. If you watch the lead up to their goal yesterday you will see what zelalems defensive awareness is all about, he let's his man play a 1-2 round him and makes no effort to follow the runner or attempt to tackle. Obviously he's not to blame directly for the goal but he could've made more of an effort to stop them. For me he's backup to Holt and not good enough for the other positions.

Players Out Of Contract In The Summer
Ross-Gazza genius replied to WilliamFyfe's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
On current form I would keep law, but I would let the rest go. I think there will be better players in these positions available in the summer plus signing some new players or promoting youth will create extra buzz around the place if possible. Getting a quality striker should be our main target in the summer and play waggy wide. -
1 of our biggest weaknesses is that Tavernier scored soo many at the start of the season coz he's more interested in playing as a winger than giving a fuck about defending which leaves us wide open at the back! I'm sure Warburton will sort things out in January but we clearly need to shift a few players out and bring in about 4 imo. I'd also let the loan players go back to their clubs, haven't quite done it for me.
-
Looks very composed, almost scored and sprayed a delightful 30/40 yard pass out wide to set up a counter attack.
-
Not the biggest fan of him, imo he slows the game and tempo down, has no work rate off the ball and pretty lightweight. I totally understand he is only 18 and nowhere near the finished article but Lewis Macleod made more of an impact in games and he isn't considered anywhere near as good.
-
This is the exact reason why I voted no, Warburton has already said he is looking for targets come January and 1 of them might be to replace zelalem on a permanent basis.

I dare say there's arguments for and against mate, just wait until it happens against us and then I'll agree with you haha -

What if someone is about to tap it into an empty net and gets brought down, the referee shows a yellow and we miss the pen! Where's the justice there? I agree with the red card, defenders know the rule. -
I'm glad Warburton is not accepting that performance it shows how far we've come. From the start it seemed flat, passing was wayward all game and 2nd half showing just wasn't good enough. I'm sure the magic man's got it under control though and unfortunately for Dumbarton they're going to be on the end of a hiding due to it.

I merely meant they had an opportunity and they ran for the hills instead, as it stands they have all shown they were nothing special at all. I think most of them have been scurrying around looking for new clubs again.
-
Fuck Jamie Ness, Rhys Mccabe and Gregg Wylde they all had an opportunity at a young age to become something special at the club but fucked off when needed!!! Although I now think that had they stayed they would've been released just like Andy Little,Ross Perry and Kyle Hutton.

Without hivs permission we can't speak to SA simple as that!! He knew our interest and knew we couldn't get to talk to him(I'm sure halliday would've had a word) but he's decided to chose the kiddy fiddlers instead!!! There will come a point when he will look back and regret it!!!

Congratulations To The Board

How much per week do we think most of these guys are on? How much have we saved on our wage bill compared to last season? This is where the money will be saved or not as we might only have spent £600,000 but signing on fee's and wages will boost this figure. Not sure if king was including wages in his statement of what he's willing to spend. -

Big de vries for hearts always seemed to score against us! Larsson was on a different level though, celebrated soo much when he broke his leg coz I knew it would be a while before we'd face him again! -
Potential Starting 11 (As It Stands)
Ross-Gazza genius replied to Brackley Bluenose's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If we sign wabara, eustace and halliday I'd still like to see a winger, creative midfielder and striker come in. Some of the youth that's there probably won't be good enough and put out on loan.
