  1. I think sir Davie could defend better at his maturing age of 46 now
  2. You don't think we've played all that badly but think they were pish and they still won 5-1!!!!!! I struggle to find your logic mate. The game I watched we were shite for large spells of it, we couldn't pass to a blue jersey and keep possession long enough to ever really threaten them. We had 3 good goalscoring opportunities and only took 1, but would've still lost due our slow and terrible defending. 1st goal- who's man scored the header = Kiernan 2nd goal- who failed to pass the ball to a blue jersey 10 yards away, resulting in them breaking on us = Kiernan 3rd goal- who's man ran away from sinclair coz he was following the ball = Kiernan Who went off like a bitch coz he was having a howler = Kiernan There was noway Kranjcar was the only poor player in the 1st half, Mckay was crap, Barton kept giving it away, Kiernan cost us 2 goals. We soaked up far too much pressure in the 1st half and the goal was coming, our goal gave us hope. We defend far too deep to counter our lack of pace at the back, when we do this we create a massive gap between the midfield and defence that Bartons age and legs can't handle and neither can Kranjcars. At times Windass had to travel 40 yards with the ball to link with our forwards coz we defend soo deep, we need to squeeze the game but in doing so another Saint Johnstone is likely to happen. I think Warburtons task is much bigger than he expected and not signing defenders of the required quality to suit his system will haunt him for the rest of the season. You can all say about not playing players out of position but I genuinely think his last role of the dice is hoping Crooks can solve his problems at the back. My team when players are fit: foderingham,Tav,Wilson,Crooks,Wallace,Rossiter, halliday,Windass,Waghorn, forrester, garner. Others need to prove themselves maybe ohalloran instead of garner. Come January get rid of the deadwood and the glory signings.
  3. I thought he was doing ok until his 2 stupid decisions resulting in a red card! Kiernan on the other hand was embarrassing, he was nowhere near dembele for the 1st at the corner, he couldn't pass the ball 10 yards which resulted in the 2nd and he followed the ball and not his man for the 3rd, then to compound the misery I'm sure he was at it when he went off injured coz he was having a howler.
  4. Hold your head high and walk proud Windass, you were a shining light on a dark day!!
  5. Honestly thought he would've been a good signing but he's soo immobile it's unreal, kept giving it away, taking to many touches and was miles off rogic and Armstrong. Doesn't help that our defence are soo slow as well, maybe if we had quicker cbs we could press higher up and squeeze the play but without that there's far too big a gap between our defence and forward line and his old legs can't handle it.
  6. Maybe our manager has him doing other jobs, if our manager doesn't take that side of our game seriously why should it be laid at the door of Sir Davie????? Davie isn't our defensive coach.......come to think of it do we even have 1 coz that was fucking kids football today!!!
  7. It's Warburtons fault in the sense he brought Kiernan to the club, he didn't focus enough on strengthening that area of the pitch and he chose to start him today. The players have let the manager down but it's his job to get the best out of them, and since the semi he hasn't. If the performances don't get better then he won't see the next old firm.
  8. The manner of the performances is what's concerning, everyone knew it was going to be a battle but we are showing no sign of learning from any of the game we've played this season. Warburton you need to give yourself a shake and wake up to the job in hand coz at this rate you'll be on the scrap heap with all these old cloggers that your signing!!!!!!!!
  9. Folk can do what they like, it's not ideal but everyone has their reasons. For the record I stay until it's over but I certainly don't frown at others who don't
  10. I think these clowns need to get a life. I buy 2 seasons tickets, I buy scran inside the stadium, I buy raffle tickets and if I want to buy a fucking rangers top then I will and no-one will tell me otherwise!!
  11. Starting lineup was wrong, Miller shouldn't be starting games for us anymore. The service he's given us is unquestionable and I applaud him for that but there's no room for sentiment when we want to win 55. Nico isn't fit either and he laboured through the poor 60 mins he was involved. I don't get the 3rd sub either taking off halliday when imo he was playing quite well was stupid(i want see Rossiter as well) surley bringing dodoo on when we need a goal would've been a no brainer. Sorry Warburton but I think you cost us a win today.
  12. To be honest i dont really like blindly following orders from on high from anyone. The rational from the club appears to be "dont buy from SD because you are lining Ashleys pockets and not the clubs because the retail deal is slanted very much in favour of SD and very much against the club". However I believe @Virtuoso has pointed out on this very thread that for every £10 spent Rangers get £2.70 (not the much quoted peanuts in the pound spouted in the press). I believe this has been verified in the company accounts - so the club actually does make money. Maybe King thinks he can make more elsewhere - I dunno. Another argument put forward by the club is the length of the deal - 7 years being too long. However, if you were in a favourable merchandising deal (as above) you would actually want to lock in the deal for as long as possible. The argument against Ashley is that he obviously doesn't have the clubs interest at heart. Frankly there is no disputing that as his continuing litigation has been a pain (however it hasn't cost us money as the fat cunt keeps loosing) and he is looking to protect his interests over and above everything else and as further evidence his handling of Newcastle has been catastrophic. However, I am sure MA's argument would be "why wouldn't I protect my interests"? I realise I am shooting in the dark with this and i dont have all the facts - but thats the point. It would be nice for the Rangers fans to be able to make a choice re the strip and merchandise based on sound and truthful information. We dont have that. At the moment decisions are being made on half truths, complete nonsense and faith. Neither the club or SD come out of this debacle with any credit whatsoever. This was a post from the other thread. I'm not savvy with this stuff so only passing on what others say.
  13. Someone posted on the other thread that rangers get £2.70 for every £10 spent.
  14. Did king not say last year that we need to buy the tops coz the club pick up the tab for the unsold jerseys? Green wasn't here at that time!
  15. As I've stated before my son has money put aside from his birthday and will be buying it, now that's his money and I won't be standing in his way if that's what he chooses to spend it on but I dare someone on Saturday to say something to him or myself. I may be wrong but was part of the SD deal not a case of, if we the fans didn't buy x amount of strips then the club had to cover the outstanding amount?
  16. Couldn't care less what people think to be honest, it's the best strip that's came out for a while and I would definitely purchase it. My son has money put aside from his birthday and has been desperate to buy it, i certainly won't be standing in his way.
  17. Great......so your gonnae block my view for a full minute!!!!!
  18. Need help here guys, I've paid for the subscription of rangers TV but it's saying I don't have Adobe Flash player on my android tablet to play it? Going with the link it then takes me to another Web page wanting to charge me more money??? I can't seem to find adobe Flash player on Google playstore
  19. Hopefully it's a sweetener for Matthew knox
  20. Every player plays hardball when it comes to renegotiating their contracts, these guys are not born and bred rangers fans so they owe us nothing!! I do think they are slightly letting themselves down when it comes to liking certain articles on Twitter and Facebook. Dave King however will have a big decision to make on them as this could go for or against him. They might not sign new contracts and we maybe make a nice wee profit from them or they set the spl alight and their wages end up going up massively coz we didn't give them what they wanted in the 1st place, the downside to that is they run their contracts down and we lose them for almost pennies or nothing. Imo we should make another offer and see where they are at after that, after all they did make a big impact on our season last year even if it did end on a low key note.
  21. I always do double chance and draw inplay. Ended up doing 1st bet on England 2nd on draw inplay, used 4 of my coral bets on England and other 2 on Wales. Ended £62 profit but was looking for a way to get more from a guaranteed return.
  22. Looking for some help here lads, The bet365 risk free £50 bet is available for the England game but I also have 6 £10 free bets with coral, is there anyway I could cover a few markets on the England game with this and make a healthy profit?
  23. I think we all know Gazza was never going to be a model professional, what he did is not acceptable and will never be condoned!!!! I'm fairly certain he's ashamed of what he did and has not repeated this act, and for that he will be forgiven. As far as being a legend is concerned the guy was a fucking God on the pitch, he made football look easy, he lived and breathed it and all he wanted was to be loved back for the great memories he gave us on the pitch.........for that he will always he a legend in my eyes. Anyway the story David seaman told about Gazza when they went fishing was funny. Hahahahahahahahahaha trying to fight a sleeping tablet
