  1. Can't see why we would keep Shiels, he was merely a squad player last year and hopefully with a better team this year players like him are the ones we should be getting rid of. As it stands we have Halliday,Holt,Barton,Rossiter,Crooks,Windass, Young Thompson and Forrester who can play there, for me keeping shiels makes no sense.
  2. I thought our general play as a whole was ok yesterday, the problem and frustration I had was we weren't shooting quickly enough or making the most of good areas we were getting into. If zelalem could fucking shoot properly we maybe would've won easily. Haliday had a stinker yesterday and the ref was on par with most of them this season............fucking shite!!! Hopefully the trip to play spurs in a friendly gives us a boost for the final.
  3. He's a good lad and his main picture on twitter is still him in a rangers shirt. Hope he has a bright future coz he's definitely got the talent.
  4. I'm thrilled for him today he was excellent and a model professional to any young players out there, keeps himself in top shape for his age and would put a lot of players to shame with his fitness levels!
  5. Hahahahahahaha Get it up ye ya fat baldy bastard
  6. Thought Miller was immense today, looked like he'd rolled back the years with that performance. Thought Wallace and Kiernan were excellent as well
  7. The lads have done great this season but the only 4 I'd start is Wes,Wallace,Mckay and Waghorn the rest of the positions I would be looking for better players or stronger competition.
  8. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha What part of my post said let's do nothing? Thank you I accept your apology
  9. I doubt this will ever happen, it would open a whole can of worms and teams would be jumping leagues all over the place. We are doomed in this league unfortunately as the standard of clubs we come up against are gash, playing wise, fanbase wise and stadium wise! It's only a matter of time until the uefa champions league get their wish and eventually push the poorer clubs away and get their 20 team fantasy league that they've been dying for!!!!
  10. They have already shown this season they can catch us so the question should be: Are we going to let hibs catch us? My answer is no we won't let them even though we have a tougher run in!
  11. Problem we have is Waggy is our main scorer so if he doesn't score then we struggle to see teams off, we should've gave him a chance to rest at times this season and used the squad and younger players like Warburton has banged his drum about but we haven't. Warburton has had the chance to rotate against lower opposition (Cowdenbeath springing to mind) but decided to go with a full strength side, so some of our players will suffer from some kind of burnout. I personally think that Warburton doesn't trust the backups for Waggy (Clark,Hardie) so feels he needs to play him when possible but like everyone has said on here he should've went out and got an out and out striker rather than these winger/striker/no.10 players. If he's missing easy chances then he deserves some kind of criticism but as far as his season has went he's been our standout player and is just suffering from a drought that will end soon enough and form will come with it.
  12. So the tackle was late, high and dangerous, he admits to using force as well coz it wouldn't be football without clobbering someone at full force.................yet it's not a red card????? Fucksake can Scottish football get any worse
  13. I have to agree here, I would sacrifice a bit of our percentage in possession for being a bit more direct at times(no not allys big hopeless punt up the park). Go back 15/20 yrs or so when the tims would murder us with possession and we still beat them, we would come out saying every game possession doesn't win you matches it's goals. My problem with the current team is we don't make enough forward passes in vital areas or shoot, we turn back and play sideways or backwards.
  14. I agree with this. After watching the Kilmarnock game we need better players to come in and push our current 1st team out. I think we need more than the 6 players that was suggested.
  15. I know on Saturday ball could drop back but who would've played defensive mid? There's noway law or shiels could've done it. I just thought we had too many strikers in the team on Saturday(Miller,Waghorn,Clarke,Hardie) as there was no chance of Hardie and Clarke coming on, maybe replace 1 with a young defender.
  16. Our bench against Falkirk was: Bell=GK Zelalem=Cm Forrester=Winger King=Winger Burt=Attack mid Clarke=Striker Hardie=Striker Is anyone else worried about our shortage of defensive players and options? To not name another defender on the bench was a big risk for me!!
  17. He might be thinking differently now coz he can't hold down a regular place.
  18. Of course not but because he plays for and comes highly rated from arsenal I expect him to be better than what he is showing
  19. I couldn't care less about him being fast tracked by anyone or whether he's been tipped to be a wonderkid, as it stands he's came to us with a big reputation and I can understand that some fans like the way he goes about playing football but there is noway anyone can tell me that so far this has been a successful loan. He plays for arsenal and should be standing out more than he does, I understand that finishing is not his strong point but he should be the one that dictates the play and he doesn't and I'm not buying this "he's only 19 pish". Jack grealish is about the same age and he looks more of a prospect than zelalem.
  20. I'm more pissed off that our own players never turned up until the 88th minute!!!!
  21. I'm not a fan of Zelalems but he done ok for the limited time he came on (yes his effort on goal was poor), anyone listening to Warburton interview before the game should know fine well that age in this team is no barrier or excuse for players, the magic man's own words when asked about Liam Burt were "if you're good enough, you're old enough" so the same applies to Zelalem, the problem is he hasn't shown in most games he's started he's good enough. On the subject of Tav I thought the groans were due to how piss poor the game was and that no-one really deserved it! After reading others views I would agree that Wes deserved it. Mckay for me drifted in and out the game, started well but then faded. Looked out of place when moved to the no.10 role today.
  22. Too many yesterday were off the boil. Wilson is an accident waiting to happen, he dallies on the ball constantly waiting to play a long pass forward. Ball done ok but he looked out of sorts and passing was poor. Law never got involved. Shiels was a joke, lost the ball on a number of occasions and passing was terrible! How he was the last man to be taken off I'll never know. Miller struggled. Waghorn never got going. Im not zelalem biggest fan but people saying he was terrible yesterday are lying he only had 11 mins to make any impact but was more involved than law and shiels were, yes his piss poor effort on goal was embarrassing but he done ok for the limited time he was on. For me our brightest player seemed to be king when he came on, always tried to go forward and was looking to go in behind when he could. We desperately need to get a striker in before the window closes coz games like that yesterday were too close for comfort.
  23. Wow.......are we talking about the same player that was non existent against Morton?? I just can't see this guys talent at all, he offers us nothing and if you compare him to a jack Wilshere when he was the same age then Zelalem looks like an amateur player. I would be very surprised if he makes it at the top level but I hope he proves me wrong.
