  1. All Stein cared about was maintaining a positive image of Celtic, the club which first employed and ultimately humiliated him. Insodoing, Stein allowed a known paedophile to go unpunished He is every bit as guilty as the BBC bosses who failed to report Savile.
  2. If Ms Sharp is forced to take legal counsel to defend her over this trumped-up nonsense, the RFFF should be used to assist with her costs.
  3. Talking with great dignity about his time at the club. Not a hint of bitterness. Showing a lot of genuine class.
  4. Did he win an Olympic medal in football? Total guess: Gerry Neef??
  5. How about Regi Blinker for the missing midfield slot?? I know he didn't play for us but his appearance in the opposition lineup always gave us a massive lift.
  6. Spot on. I was gutted when he left.
  7. According to Paul Murray at the time, Chris Graham and the guy who I think is from the RF were "appointed in accordance with the board's commitment to meaningful fan representation and in order that they can use their abilities to contribute to the company".
  8. No, I'm confident that the new management team will produce the highest quality football we've seen since Advocaat's time. As a result, I believe we will win the Championship in style.
  9. Thank you. Here's a tip back. If you really do work within the law, don't whine "You hate me don't you, your honour?" any time you encounter a setback.
  10. Weir clearly impressed MW as his No. 2 and Warburton obviously liked MacLeod enough to buy him. Don't really think that's the same as keeping on an old lag like McCulloch.
  11. As it happens, I agree. Professionalism and dignity cost nothing. I wouldn't run to the papers about it, though.
  12. I've existed for 23 years; thanks for asking. I joined here a few weeks ago after having a login for FF for a year or so. Would you like my FF username so you can check my post history? Knock yourself out. Anyway, you were saying about fans hating McCulloch? Looks like you're in a minority of one on here.
  13. You remind me of the slow-on-the-uptake posters who used to bleat "You hate Ally, don't you?" when others spoke out after yet another dismal performance.
  14. Maybe because of the appalling outcome of the lazy and unimaginative decision to fill managerial and coaching roles with ex-players over the last 3 years? Could that be it, per chance?
  15. This would be a very disappointing move for MW to make. McCulloch's time at Rangers is over. He needs to stop hanging around like Banquo's ghost and get on with the rest of his career.
  16. Yet more evidence of your transparent pro-ebola agenda.
  17. So DJ can slag the players for failing and he can mention the stand-in manager who almost got promotion but he just can't bring himself to criticise the manager who bought all these failed players. Cowardly journalism at its finest.
  18. The quicker the whole old boys network ends, the better for us.
  19. Nathan is an excellent summariser of Rangers issues. Good piece.
  20. I take the point re our reaction to Ally signing this guy. Difference is Ally would also sign two 33 year old FBs, a couple of 35 year old strikers and two veteran CBs. Let's face it, if McCoist was still manager, he would be tying up deals right now for Stephen McManus, Plug Pearson, Scott Mcdonald and the guy who Mohsni banjoed as our token youth signing.
  21. Mate, I was the first to criticise McCoist for filling the team with old stiffs but maybe MW sees this guy as the lynchpin of the team. I'll give him a chance at least until I see him play.
  22. Ah, so he's our Nick Clegg? At least they're not pretending he paid the ferryman like Ralston claimed!!
  23. It's a gamble bearing in mind his age but it could work out. We definitely need someone to perform this role. Best of luck to him.
