  1. What I and others can't get over is that it is so blatantly obvious from a Rangers perspective that you don't offer any level of support for the red card when the club is appealing it. Miller clearly does this. That leaves a few interpretation choices - take your pick from: KM doesn't like Ryan Jack. KM doesn't like Pedro. KM is a complete idiot. How hard is it to work out that the best, the ONLY thing to say has to be supportive of your team and team mate? I don't think KM should be in the team any more on an ability basis, but that is a separate issue from what he has done here.
  2. That stays on the park and Ryan Jack gets sent off for what could at harshest be called minimal contact. We're paranoid in the Rangers support, aren't we?
  3. Pedro has stated that Rangers are appealing the red card. KM's quote suggests Ryan Jack may have deserved the red and pretty well undermines the appeal from within our own club. If I were Pedro and saw that quote, KM would be looking for alternate employment.
  4. What Miller should have said is nothing at all unless it completely supported his team mate.
  5. Miller might score a fabulous winner next week, or in a couple of weeks time. He has that ability to occasionally pull out a blinder. But his normal return is what gets us in trouble for large periods of games. Sorry - he should not be a starter any more and certainly never play midfield - his contact with the ball in the middle of the park is usually what breaks down whatever we were building.
  6. Must agree with offminorthreat - reception is good in Melbourne (but was shit for the last two RTV matches).
  7. If it's anything like the Marseille game, you'll need to log on on Friday if you want to see the first half!
  8. Took until 33rd minute to get on to RTV but liking what I've seen since then. Pena or Morelos for Miller and we might beat a very good team today.
  9. 17 past midnight here. Been trying to log on since quarter past 11. FFS.
  10. F***! This is the third successive match I've been unable to access on RTV despite my ongoing subscription. I love that the money goes to the club but FFS - surely I should be able to log on and watch what I paid for!!!!
  11. Maybe by saying that he hopes to trick Pedro into playing Waghorn again... they must have been absolutely delighted with Waghorn's "performance" against them at Ibrox and will be praying to whichever gods look after Luxembourgers that Waghorn starts against them again.
  12. I want to see us consistently beating teams we dropped points against this year that we would seldom have dropped points against in the past. If we match or better the scum's results against the rest, I genuinely think they will bottle it. That doesn't mean I believe we're definitely going to win the league (although I expect to be much, much closer) - just that I don't believe "the invincibles" are anything of the sort and would love to see us put that to the test.
  13. I remember having that picture on my wall when I was about 9 or 10. What a team.
  14. Send a slightly different list to each of the suspected "leakers" and see which one ends up in the rag? It would explain surprise omissions (such as AH) from the list. Wouldn't that be sneaky?
  15. Interesting to compare McKay with the scum players of a similar kind. Bit early to decide on McGregor but I don't think much of him so far. Roberts should enjoy himself while with the scum because he'll never make it at City - far too predictable. How many times does he cut inside onto his left foot when running at the defender? Almost as one sided as Waghorn. Gets away with it in the SPFL but will get chewed up and spat out by EPL defenders. I actually rate McKay as better than Forrest, a very limited footballer who should never be near a Scotland shirt (although playing for the scum almost guarantees a role in a Strachan side). However, McKay is not good enough for the Rangers I want to see and if he's playing hard ball on signing an extension, Pedro should definitely move him on for whatever he can get.
  16. The single biggest question mark I have about Pedro is his continual selection of Waghorn - starting, on the bench, in the squad - he belongs in none of these. If we can't get rid, pay his wages on condition he stays away.
  17. Sadly this is spot on. If it's not true, not sure where we can go from here.
  18. I've tried and tried but can't understand Waghorn being in the team from any perspective. This is the single biggest issue I have with Pedro. If it looks like a jobby, feels like a jobby, smells like a jobby - even tastes like a jobby....
  19. They will get CL money that we don't get next year. Who knows (seriously - lots of bullshit speculation from the pro and con King/Board groups) how much will be available to our manager? No one. What I'm seeing: On the down side (and it's massive): We only have, at best, 3-4 players in the current squad that could potentially be part of a title winning side. We have a new manager who may not last the season out. I would LOVE him to be successful but his performances, based purely on the things he does control (selection from the existing, not-his-choice squad, match set up, substitutions, changing losing set up) have been, in my opinion, little short of pathetic. On the up side: They are really not that good. As few as four genuinely good players in and four genuinely shite players out (Waghorn first, for me) and we would be able to beat everyone else as regularly as the scum do. This would put much greater pressure on them, and they have a bunch of bottlers in their team. Ask Lincoln Reds. They will have more money to spend but Brenda has an astonishingly consistent record of buying shite. I live in hope, even though I'm still feeling the pain and the shame of watching today's (tonight's for me) shambles.
  20. Sorry - don't agree with the concept. We need to build the next generation Rangers. What is required is not former players but forward thinking and realism. We only need (for next season) to be better than the rest. The bottlers from septic land will crumple under a serious challenge. Even on Sunday's abortion of a performance we would have scored and put real pressure on them if we had something better than Waghorn and Garner up front. We don't need a lot of financing to do better than those two. We just need a bit of sensible shopping in a wider market. We can do this sooner than most believe.
