  1. That one got me as well. Dirty shitebags. Other than that it was Davie Robertson's goal being disallowed which denied us a 4-3 and that dirty big bastard Kahn getting away with crippling Mols who looked to be on his way to becoming the greatest Rangers player I've ever seen.
  2. I don't remember Advocaat going with two strikers instead of a midfield after being a man down but it's more in a wider sense I was meaning. The odd mistake is forgivable but look at the way he sent us out against that lot last season after Murty delivered a blue print to at least being competitive. It's more the size and how silly the mistakes are that make me doubt him. Then when you add his waffle and mentality it just gives me the fear a bit. It all smacks of an arrogant stubborn streak that will cost us too many points to win titles. Maybe he'll settle down and prove me wrong and nothing would make me happier because he is a good cunt and a character. Just being honest about what I'm seeing because mistakes like these if repeated mean he can never win a title and that's all that matters at Rangers.
  3. If we avoid injuries and he keeps it straightforward I think these players will do enough for him to keep his job. I just fear we'll see him come up with masterplans that backfire and make the fans give up on him completely. It's got to make sense for the support to stay with you. If he does something daft against that lot or the sheep I'll end up loathing him as my patience is already done after these other disasters. I hope I'm wrong but I see that head strong streak in him were self believe goes too far and it's like a mild form of delusion. We've probably all had it beaten out of us at one point through experiencing dissapointments because of our mistakes but Pedro looks and sounds stubborn enough to just carry on believing instead of keeping things simple or practical. I suppose the support will make him aware enough though because Ibrox is a lonely looking place for a manager who does stupid things. Part of me feels sympathy for them when it's going wrong.
  4. It was the dire performances last season that made me doubt Pedro so much. He seems to have made some good signings and I believe we will improve as the season goes on. Saturday though was another sign that he's a maverick tactically and not a very good one. He talks a lot about character and presence which is all good because it's what we lacked so much last season. His other penchant is for talking like an expert tactician and it's here that he's so far been found to be lacking. Not many are great tacticians right enough but they at least recognise it and so don't come away with the type of nonsense we seen on Saturday when he didn't shore up the midfield. At most clubs it's probably ok to take mad gambles to massage your delusions of being a managerial grandee because defeats are not as costly as they are at Ibrox. He'll need to smarten up in this respect or the support will soon see it for the major flaw it is because instead of maybe still winning a game or getting a point you end up with none and that costs titles in our league when it happens repeatedly over a season. Shame he has this flaw because he has good traits. I like the way he is strict and takes no shit, how he likes an aggressive fast attacking team, and what looks like so far the ability to spot players with the right mentality and style of play on a relatively small budget. He's up against it anyway because of circumstances with being at a club like Rangers in a period where we are very much playing catch-up but his flamboyant streak will see him out the door even sooner. He needs to just focus on being a solid practical manager who builds upon the foundations he's trying to put in place and leave off being the grand matador. All we want is to be secure in the knowledge that we have a competent stable manager to lead us back to where we belong and bring home our trophies. The grand gestures and tactical mistakes just make people doubt him because risky strategies never pay-off in the long run. The shit part for us, I think, is Pedro doesn't strike me as the sort who is ever short on self belief and so he'll continue to take silly decisions at crucial moments because being cautious and smart doesn't even enter his head in the heat of the moment. These type of managers are rash and not in the same class as the likes of Smith when it comes to calculating the chances of decisions paying off. That's why they move around so much.
  5. Yeah its the bit that pisses me off and I'm surprised the boxing mob isn't saying more about it. Mayweather's whole claim to be a possible greatest of all time is a nonsense to me. Perhaps greatest of all time at smaller weights when he done it all although no doubt a lot of former small fighters from the past might dispute it. Going undefeated is only part of the CV though and doesn't make you the best ever like some of his fans claim. Lots of things go towards their records. Mayweather has done the lot though but so have others. If you look at the fights, the rise through weight classes, opponents, the fighting style, continuing to carry a lot of power, and fighting people whenever I'd rate Pacquaio above him let alone the likes of Ali, Leonard etc. I suppose it just depends on the style you prefer as he does deserve big recognition as he eventually thought most of them he could in his career and managed to always look good. It is unreal how good he is at evading the best punchers in the world in such a small ring for 12 rounds and out pointing them. He's the best I've seen at using the rules, scoring points, watching the clock, and always staying ahead in a fight. If he did fall behind or need to pull a KO out the bag though he would struggle more than many other boxers. Against the very best at 147 and above he cant really come forward and follow up on his good punches without getting chased away so its not the full package like earlier in his career. But aye this fight shouldn't be official. That's why I would laugh if he somehow managed to get himself knocked out by McGregor.
  6. Just seen your original post wasn't actually ripping into me that much. Was on my phone so my apologies for my cranky reply You like him that much eh? Does look amazing and I'm also a big fan of him. Not seen anyone who's movement is that good I don't think. It opens opponents up so much that even I could hit them. Great to watch. His destruction of Russel and Walters were superb and even more so because he doesn't even carry great KO power. Its only that and the fact I've never seen anyone hit him much that makes me wonder if he's going to be an all time great. Shame he's already 29 and only has 9 fights. There is talk of him fighting Garcia. That would be good to see. If he comes through that then I don't see anyone coping with him at smaller weights than the likes of Crawford. Just thinking about it, its crap he's already 29 or else we'd have another 15 years of him.
  7. Fair enough. I was only posting a couple of videos because those uppercuts and moves made me laugh. I almost want him to win as its not right that its an official bout and Mayweather can take a record against a guy with no boxing experience. Its disrespectful to the sport, Marciano, and every cunt else who lost their 0 fighting top guys.
  8. Exactly. Do you not thnk a novice southpaw can learn from Lomachenko? He'd be able to help McGregor out much more than the Irish kid or an out of shape Malignaggi. You think someone can't train and learn a lot from a lighter fighter? What is it with jokers on here nitpicking at small parts of posts? Especially when trying to rip the piss when they obviously don't have much of a clue. Anyone who believes Lomachenko wouldn't be useful to a novice southpaw going up against another very skilful boxer like Mayweather is missing something
  9. That referee needs watching. Bet he's given the vermin some last minute free kicks.
  10. Aye he got me good right enough. The guy's struggling to look decent in training ffs He also a proud guy with a fight to sell. Do you really think he is deliberately trying to look awful in front of the media and the millions around the world who will see it? I suppose you must if you think its all part of a ruse to get people to lap it up. Mayweather's downplaying his own ability and talking McGregor up to try and sell the fight as a genuine contest. The last thing it needs for its credibility is for McGregor to intentionally look bad. McGregor will be trying to look as good as he can and that's why he's showing edited videos of himself looking good in sparring. No doubt the same reason why he didn't take Lomachenko up on his offer to train with him or go for someone in shape and with more power than Malignaggi. Did you just come up with that theory because you like the guy? You did didn't you I doubt any martial artist is going to look good in a boxing ring or vice versa when coming up against one of the best in the sport. The clips and all the "I own boxing" "I'll knock him out in four" "Canelo needs to improve his footwork" trash talk just makes the whole thing funnier. The boys a good laugh and the best bit is that he doesn't even look embarrassed when he comes out with this stuff. He's walked into boxing shouting louder than Ali in his prime without having a fight Get your money on Mayweather stopping him and/or him not winning a round. It would be the same if Mayweather was daft and was in an MMA fight.
  11. Seen a couple of videos of McGregor's training and he looks like he is struggling to adapt to boxing. Fuck knows what this one is about either. It's like an octopuss having a tantrum No doubt the guy is just trying to use what he's already good at or seeing if he can find some sort of effective move but doubt it will work because boxers and coaches will have tried everything already. Surprised he dropped Malignaggi in sparring but he looks as if he's spent months on the curries and was never on Mayweathers level anyway. Mcgregor's a good lad though. He's made sure that Floyd will be wanting to KO him even more now Get your money on Mayweather stopping him. He doesn't look like he can box to save himself.
  12. Never wanted Pedro and don't understand his appointment but there is little point in crucifying the guy this early especially after a game the referee ruined. Lets see where we are at in 3 months. Not much else we can do this early in the season.
  13. Fair play to the guy. One of only a few who have said no to any more witch hunts against Rangers. Good to see not everyone is full of hatred and some actually have the balls to say no to haters in public. Practically works as some support in our favour by making a public statement. A shame there is not more men with such integrity involved in Scottish football or the media.
  14. Nah Dunfermline obviously lay down for us again We've waited so long for a sign that Pedro knows how to set up a football team, so it's good to see that he's finally delivered a couple of wins. Need to keep it going now by beating the junkies on Saturday. Hopefully the forwards score some more goals as we look ok elsewhere on the pitch as long as we don't get injuries or lose key players like last season. So far it's been better than I expected but that's more to do with the fact we drew and got two wins against the French and English teams in the friendlies. Time will tell if that's us on our way as it's a long season but a win at the weekend would be pleasing. The bitterness from the manager to the stands and players of that lot towards us means it should be a difficult game. The type that will give a better indication of where we are at than the last few games.
  15. Yeah having watched Crawford again sober I can't see him losing to Indongo now. Will be interesting to see as he looks so ackward. I've only seen him beat Burns so that's what making me wonder how good he really is because Burns is a level below the likes of Crawford.
  16. Yeah that's exactly what I mean. He was just controlling the fight from outside taking no risks. I get fed up with that sort of style if they do it the whole fight but it's their career on the line and it's using their boxing skills so can't really complain when he also gives you the strong finish. Just hate it when it's done for a full fight like Mayweather done with Pacquaio because it can end up a guy wins a fight whilst going backwards for the full fight. Just seems like using the rules too much to your advantage as it's winning a fight by not really engaging in a fight at all. The advantage actually lies with the guy who is going backwards and counter punching because he has to do less and take less risks than the one coming forward. It seems unfair to me when it goes on for most of the fight. Difficult to see Crawford being beat though as he has it down to a fine art and puts them away in the later rounds. Seen somebody mentioning him fighting Lomachenko. Think he's too big though and doubt Lomachenko would be ready for a guy like him yet anyway.
  17. Aye, the guy had really good movement as well and made him miss a lot as well. Add that too his clowning around against a big puncher and he could be in trouble. I seen the fight again last night on Box Nation and it's strange the difference when you've not had a drink. Seen Crawford against Diaz as well and he looks the sort who will be difficult to beat. Big powerful counter puncher with good defensive skills who goes backwards until you tire then lays it on you. It's not my favourite style and he actually refused to go forward at times which is worse than even Mayweather but it is what it is and makes them difficult as fuck to win against. It's made me think he will beat Indongo easier than I thought now because I've only seen him beat Ricky Burns and I think Ricky is a bit beneath the level of guys like Crawford.
  18. I've only seen him the once but couldn't work out what I'd try and do with him. I'd just duck him and hope someone else gets rid of him I think Not an easy fight for anyone as you say. A right ackward customer. I don't think there is many out there who could handle him. Will be an interesting fight just to see what sort of game plan Crawford uses. He's supposed to be the favourite but I also wouldn't be surprised at all if he can't suss out a way to beat Indongo. Think I'll slap a tenner on the big fucka
  19. Yeah I think his time is up too. That big long limbed freak Indongo who beat him is up against Crawford soon. Will be good to see how someone goes about beating that strange fucker. Felt a bit sorry watching Burns against him as I couldn't work out what I'd have done even with my lifetime of sofa expertise
  20. Seen he's been calling Lomachenko out on social media. Would be a good one but think Lomachenko wins because of the combination of his skill and bigger size. Another cracker would be Garcia if he moves back down to 135.
  21. I am such a dumb tit at times. I just realised after posting that you stated you wanted it as an extension to the house lol That will cost you unless your good mates with an unemployed builder.
  22. Build it yourself with 2 by 3 and plywood then cover it with tongue and groove. Finish with a nice wood stain and your good to go for a few hundred quid. You'll like it better because you built it yourself mate. Just wrap a line in a thick rubber groove to the house to power it. You don't even need much wood working skills to do a good job of it. Just need to take your time like most trades when your not a tradesman. I've built a few pigeon lofts and garages and can never work out why people pay thousands for stuff like this. Even if you want the concrete effect like the one in the OP you can buy the stone partitions for cheap enough on ebay. Don't splash good cash on anything you can do yourself. A few beers, a hi-if, and a set of tools is all you need. Got to love a good wee project
  23. Wish I could afford to take the risk and put thousands on Mayweather. Its a cunt of a fight because its official and so he gets to pass Marciano's record by fighting a non boxer. That's just disrespectful to the guy and the sport because its almost impossible for him to lose. Would be funny if he did but it should only be an exhibition match at most. I seen footage of this Conor lad saying he'd KO Canelo You'd have to worry about his health if he was to go in against someone like that as its obvious that someone like Mayweather is his only hope of lasting a few rounds. Same with getting in the likes of Paulie to spar with. I'm surprised they can sell it on a PPV basis but going by social media McGregor seems to have supporters who are not really pure MMA fans but just believe he's some kind of superman. Its strange but I think its the whole circus with some of these guys as they analysis all that trash talking nonsense and say things like "McGregor has Mayweather mentally all over the place and defeated already" just because he called him a bitch on TV. Hope to fuck boxing doesn't go any further down that road as its like WWE. Would be hard to take seriously. The presser conference highlights I seen for this were just him and Mayweather walking about shouting yeah and calling each other names. Fuck knows what it's all about because it made the fight seem more like a complete farce than if it was kept normal.
