I did say usually, and aye I think anyone can see the lure of playing in the EPL. Your last sentence is nearer the crux of the matter, maybe Rangers wouldn't be too upset to see some of our top earners move on. Green did say and I think we all agree that Rangers need to live within our means now, and paying guys like Whittaker, Davis, Naismith and McGregor close on £20k a week is maybe out our price range now, others like Alexander, Fleck etc are drawing far too big a wage for contributing zilch. Sad fact of the matter is as long as we play in this country we can't really afford to pay what we do people will need to go to get us back on a even keel.

I don't buy that bit in the article about european football, lets be honest if any of our top earners get a move to the EPL they will be going to teams like Everton, West Brom, Fulham etc. team who don't usually play in europe anyway so that to me is a no-starter. If they want to move on because they can earn more money then fair enough be man enough to say so I wont hold any grudges against them, players come and go all the time at football clubs, as long as the club is still here thats all that matters. The way I read it bud is that HMRC's decision now allows them to fully investigated the running of our club and bring possible criminal charges against those responsible for the mess they put us in.
