I've watched a bit of Rossiter, few games at Liverpool, couple of games for England U19s and the very little game time with us. I'm not saying it's absolute fact that Halliday is better but in my opinion if it came down to a choice between Halliday and Rossiter, Halliday would be the better option. In a few years however, Rossiter will be one of our best players.

With Joey Barton being a hard man and with him making his debut for us this week, got me thinking as to who are our toughest ever players. I can think of Graeme Souness, Duncan Ferguson and maybe David Weir. Anyone else?

You do know that with pretty much every club players have pay for the shirt they swap or give to a fan. I remember seeing an interview with the West Brom kit man who said players have to pay about £60 for a new shirt after they give it away or swap it.

The real problem I see with our defence is pace. Clint Hill is very slow. Also, Halliday used to play left back.

Was just thinking about what we could do about our weakness which is our centre half positions and thought Wallace would be good at CB. Wallace at CB and Halliday being moved to LB with Rossiter or Barton taking his spot. I know that Wallace is class going forward but do you think this idea would be worth trying?
