  1. Is it not more important right now we're 10pts behind the sheep. This pish about how many points Rangers are behind the mankies seems to be a new thing this season while ignoring the team in second place. More to the point last season the sheep were only a handful of points behind the mankies at this stage and this season they are 22pts behind them at the same stage,Doesn't seem to me they are improving despite what the media tell us, If the sheep were in 3rd place you wouldn't be hearing any mention of how many points they were behind the mankies. All about the Gers.
  2. Mark my words,The vendors will be selling Mexican hats outside the stadium with a free Taco or Tortilla and as a welcome to our new Qatari players to make them feel at home there will be a huge sandcastle behind the Broomie family section with free bucket and spades for the kids. The Louden Tavern will be giving away free tea towels and snakebelts with every pint while telling us about the twenty 60in HD tellies. Once the Mexicans have tasted the pishing rain and freezing weather of Scotland, They will steal the free buckets and spades from the kids and procede to dig a tunnel back to Mexico.
  3. It's not just solid players,They have to be quality players. You can't buy 1 good quality defender for £3m never mind 2 and quality is whats required for next season,But i won't be holding my breath on millions being spent to bring the quality in for a title challenge. Won't be surprised if it's another Warburton situation where the new manager just brings in players he has worked with and Mexican and Qatari players won't improve the quality of our team for next season,Even if he signs his godson.
  4. Not having this players replaced because they were ill, It was clear to see in the first half how easy the Motherwell forwards were getting behind our defenders, None of our defenders are blessed with pace and at times even watching Wallace tracking back is like watching him running through treacle. It's quite clear why they were replaced and the bigger hint would be playing a player at right back who's pretty rapid who's a winger and keeping a defender on the bench. Even with those replacements we were all over the place and Motherwell looked like scoring everytime they went forward, It was an absolutely bizarre game in the second half and could have finished 5-5 but for some excellent goalkeeping from both keepers. Putting all three subs on at halftime was a complete lottery considering we were 1-0 down,If we had a player sent off or off injured we could have been trying to come from 1-0 behind with 10 men. If Wallace,Hodgson and Hill were injured or unwell then they quite simply shouldn't have played,It's understandable that we don't have a huge squad, But if your playing players who aren't match fit when you can have a look at what's available in Bates,McGrory and Senderos or replace a defender and play a winger in that position when you already have and ignore your only defender on the bench, It's a huge slap in the face to Senderos. So much also about the two week break and being able to do a lot more with the players,Most of them in the first half looked like they had just met up in the car park before the game for the first time. Once again we've dropped yet more stupid points and more so at home where we have a very good home record,All the games against Motherwell have been very close this season and today once again they lifted their game to a higher level and played like they were at the top of the league. I've seen Moult a few times now and always impresses me and think he's a player we should be looking at in the summer,Good team player, pacy and know's where the goal is. I've said i won't judge the new manager on the home games simply because our home record is good, I'll judge him on the away games which have so far been very poor and he has two big games coming up back to back to see if he has made any difference to our away form. I think we'll struggle against Kilmarnock on their shitey pitch and can't see us taking anything against the sheep next Sunday.
  5. Quite simple, He has more chance of getting into Rangers first team than he ever will at Chelsea,Only difference is Chelsea can offer more money. Fleck,McCormack and Ferguson of the three of them McCormack i'd say has done the best in regards to transfer fees. It's unfortunate now that due to the money on offer most players see the pull of cash rather than what is best for their footballing career,If your one of the worlds elite players you can pick and choose how much you want and where you want to go,For the vast majority of players it's all about the lifestyle of flash cars, watches and blonde ornaments hanging from your arm.
  6. He didn't get a banning order. In one of the other story's a Rangers fan who called a cop a jock and swore at him was given a three year football banning order. There is a two level tier of punishment in Scotland,One which solely applies to Rangers fans and the other for every other fan who are non Rangers supporters,It's quite incredible that someone can attempt to punch a player on the field of play,Then run around and assault two more people one of which was a female hit with a chair and avoid going to prison. Lennon was manager of celtc,Wallace was captain of Rangers.. Both have been victims of supporters trying to assault them.. One went to prison and the other didn't,The one who tried to attack Lennon was stopped and arrested very quickly..The one who tried to attack Wallace was allowed to continue and assault two other people on the pitch before being arrested. You also have to ask the question as to why he was also released from custody after carrying out these attacks and as anyone would know,Normally if your arrested at the weekend your kept in till Monday for court,Why was this guy released.
  7. The kids aren't describing Ibrox stadium, They were asked to describe the area they live in,One little girl had a card that said "Ibrox is my home". The council also have a part to play in all this. There are not enough bins on matchdays and the ones that are there are usually overflowing and the rubbish falling on the ground and they more often than not don't come near the stadium until people have left before they start cleaning up, The simpler solution would be to have a few of the cleansing workers going round the stadium/streets and clearing the rubbish before during and after the game and would solve a lot of the issues local residents have with the amount of litter. I think in part the council are passing the buck due to their failure of putting men on the job and putting pressure on the club to try and educate our own fans on the litter problem, When in reality they are failing in their own duty of care by not doing the job council tax pays for by refusing to pay overtime and cutting back on everything,Much easier to blame the high numbers of the clubs supporters rather than deal with their own failures. People piss in streets,up closes and anywhere they can,When you need to go you need to go... Problem is once again there are no public toilets in the area,The council could rectify this very easily,It might not completely stop it but supplying those mobile toilets in staggered areas around the stadium would see a decrease,As always it comes down to money and lots of passing the buck on who pays for these toilets,Would it be the club or the council ? In my opinion if it's a local problem and one which attracts lots of complaints and there are no public toilets,Then it should be down to the council to supply these toilets as most of the pishing no doubt is around the streets of the stadium and outwith the control of the club,So it's a police and council problem. I haven't yet seen a response either from the club in regards to the parking restrictions the council are intent on enforcing despite many concerns by fans who travel to Ibrox by car, I'm also aware that the council have had a meeting with the club in relation to these restrictions and really hope the club haven't agreed given they are now taking a big interest in the local residents and community and working with the council,Maybe it's just a coincidence,But the lack of a statement given the fans concerns is worrying,Perhaps something someone can push for an answer from the club on their views and supporting the supporters who will be affected. Seeing the smug looking Stevie Dornan sitting at that meeting gave me the boak, A guy that jumped ship from Labour to the SNP and another brainwashed recruit who'd sell his granny for a vote,Any sort of publicity and Stevie boy has his hand up,Was a good guy years ago working in the community and helping the local kids and teaching them karate,He's not also a local resident as he stated.
  8. There is nothing stopping him signing a new deal which would net the club a far bigger transfer fee,If these teams that are interested and serious about signing him,Then a couple of million which is loose change to these clubs would be far better than the figures doing the rounds. That way he gets the club a much bigger fee and a win win situation for the player and the club,Soon as he hits 16,Sign a pro contract and we'll find out if teams are still interested in him or just after a player on the cheap. He would be making a huge mistake and taking a huge gamble with his career going down to London, He would be better staying with Rangers and filling out a bit more and keep improving his game and raising his profile even more by knocking on the door of the first team. The unfortunate thing now about football is when clubs start waving thousands a week to young boys like Gilmour with loads of promises and the big lights of London, It's not only the players but their familys can also be taken in by it all and swayed to make a decision for the wrong reasons. I like others have seen all this big prospect thing before and usually it never comes to fruition, You only need to look back at the hype about Fleck being the next Wayne Rooney to see how people can get carried away. If Gilmour is the prospect he's made out to be, It will make no difference if he stays at Rangers as he will just get even better if he is indeed a future prospect for big things. I just hope both him and his parents make the right decision for the right reasons and ignore the money factor and bright lights of London,If he's good enough,Keeps working hard,Keeps improving,Then the rewards will come.
  9. Browns deliberate stamp on the Slovenia player,Notice his left foot off the ground and putting his full weight on the Slovenia players leg,Brown tried to do serious damage to the player and not even booked for it. Not even a mention of it from the pundits on Sky or any replays and not a word mentioned of it in the Scottish media match reports. He elbowed Holt a couple of weeks ago and now tried to snap a players leg last night. They won't replay,Highlight or speak about it because they know he'll get a two match ban and be out of the England game, You seen all the publicity over the tackle from the Wales player, Browns challenge was much worse. We know the media look in these forums.. How do you sleep at night covering these things up and refusing to highlight it. PS. You can use the picture
  10. They used to go there quite regular and people loved them and the place was always packed. In it's heyday it was a great night out,But that was in an era where most people looked forward to a good night out and it was safe to stagger along the road, Loads of people now like to just sit in with a cargo at the weekends. Really wish they would do something with it as it's been sitting for years and becoming a bit of an eyesore,They should either use it or just sell it.
  11. If they did you would still be in a position then of owing a building still requiring millions to renovate and upgrade it.If we're going down the road of the club selling the building to the fans group. Rab Marshall and his son have both admitted they don't have the finance to fund this themselves. It's also highly doubtful that they would up sticks and move the Louden to EH given the very substantial amount of money they have spent doing the Louden up, Even selling the Louden wouldn't bring anywhere near enough money to finance the renovation and refurb of EH. EH is a pretty big building based over several floors, There has been numerous figures splashed around about the actual cost of fixing and renovating the building, Unless there are actual plans and quotes for doing the work,Then it would only be guesswork as to costs, Loads of folk reckon anywhere between £1.5m/£2m. Looking at it another way,One way to vastly reduce the costs would be to renovate a certain percentage of the building,Say a couple of floors and the costs would drop by quite a bit. The only other way to finance it would be to offer shares to raise the money for it or/and offer a yearly subscription for membership and part ownership,Something that was owned and run by the supporters. Rab Marshall love him or loathe him seems to be the only one who's interested in doing something with the building,If it's funded, run and being used by the fans and others that can only be a good thing. EH is as it stands still costing the club money in rates and the longer it stays empty and gets worse the more the costs will increase to fix it up and revamp it,It also has two good size car parks front and rear already in situ. Let's also remember there are numerous award nights and dinner dances throughout the year and money that the club doesn't see a penny of,Using our own facility's would see the money from all these including bar and food profits would stay with the club/fans and could be invested in revamping more of EH if that was the case. You have to speculate to accumulate,But in order to speculate you first have to get the finance to do so A building owned, used and funded by our own fans sounds good in theory, But will take a pretty big investment to do so. I remember when EH was called Morley's and they had some great nights in there almost always sold out, So would be good to see a modern version for the fans and some great nights once again. As always money is the biggest factor here.
  12. I gave an example of how they play the victim card,Simple as that, When you make serious accusations of woman and children being brutally assaulted by the very people they claim give them all sorts of grief and then claim they have pictures and video evidence.. Wouldn't you be posting this all over the internet ? Nothing of the sort happened that night and they played the victim card and even worse claiming kids were being brutally assaulted,Which is pretty sad. I've also stated at least three times on this thread that i like the UB's,I'll praise them when it's deserved and i'll be critical when they also deserve it,Most of the time there isn't a problem with them but the odd time there is it could be easily avoided,Surrounding the cops and accusing them of stuff that's made up isn't and doesn't do them any favours or even help them.
  13. You do know 2012 wasn't 3yrs ago You're now reverting to totally making things up such is your desperation, Where has anyone stated they back the cops,Take your time now. Also your reply towards me in regards to "reeking" is simply reverting to type as you don't really have an answer and easiest way to deflect from it is to accuse someone of being one of the unwashed simply because you struggle with the truth and don't like it. Do try to stop being angry about the cops, If people were trying to come through your door at 2 in the morning with weapons the first thing you'd be doing is phoning the cops,So don't kid yourself.
  14. Oops Oops again http://forum.followfollow.com/archive/index.php/t-804320.html Note the common denominator of others interfering and making things worse. Slipped your mind did it.
  15. Savage unjust brutality, women and children.... All these years later and there hasn't been one video posted of all this brutality despite claiming they had all the picture and video evidence.... Victim card played right there and more akin to something you expect from the unwashed "It wisnae us". To put it into perspective,The Record ran a story about Rangers fans preventing the cops from getting to Hampden and claimed Rangers fans were putting children in front of police vans to prevent them moving, That was quite a serious accusation but many Rangers fans took the time to gather all the evidence and posted numerous pictures and video's to disprove these allegations and forced the Record to backtrack and admit they were wrong. The Ub's made some serious accusations about the cops and stewards attacking people including women and children and claimed to have proof by way of pictures and video's there own members had taken. Given you constantly complain about the treatment your group receive from the very same people you accused of attacking women and children, Is it not quite strange that there has never been any video's or pictures showing this attack on women and children and something that would have proved your accusations. Most people who claimed to have evidence of police brutality would have had it up on the internet like a flash if it also involved women and children. What simply happened is one of your group was being ejected and quite a lot surrounded the cops and stewards to prevent it happening and you all kicked off,Some pavement dancing followed and you pissed the cops and stewards off to the extent they took a hands on approach to move people out of the way and people were arrested/ejected.. There was never any brutal violence and no women or kids were brutally attacked. Those interfering also stand the chance of being arrested and getting a criminal record which can have an affect on job prospects and other things and could also be banned from Ibrox from nothing more than trying to act like Billy big baws. So let's see all the evidence then.
  16. The Annan one was used as an example to show how much of the victim card they played that night in the hope that everyone would believe them and even prepared to throw kids into it to get sympathy from other Rangers fans, That's until the real truth came out and even when they were pressed into letting people see all this evidence they claimed to have and despite all the promises of they will be all up soon, They never had any proof and never posted any videos to back up this claim of kids being assaulted and people being battered by the cops and they never will because there isn't any proof.. My information is rock solid and given the persons position and that i know this person very well,I wouldn't have any reason to disbelieve what they said, As i stated in the last line of my last post, I fully expected you to deny what i said and i'd also like to point out that i haven't said "BF1 'faces threat of closure" Those are your words not mine. So maybe we will just leave it at that.
  17. It's not bullshit government policy's against them in this country, It merely comes down to health and safety in stadiums which most country's abroad like Turkey for example ignore,Even though there will be rules and regulations they don't abide by them as most of their clubs don't want to upset their own fans for fear of a backlash from them. When fans are allowed in with mopeds and then chuck them down on top of Scottish fans below, That shows how scared these clubs are to intervene,I've seen a video of a player in a press conference that was hijacked by his teams fans and they took his top from him because they didn't like him and not one person stopped them,Some of these clubs are ruled by fear from their own fans. I like all the smoke bombs and flares and think it's amazing, But teams from abroad especially in the Baltic regions are renowned for their displays and looks magnificent when the whole stadium is just a mass of colour and smoke, Attempt to do that here would see you arrested and banned from football. The atmosphere at football since the rules on all seated stadiums has killed the atmosphere at grounds, There was nothing to beat a packed Ibrox stood together like sardines on the terraces in full voice, But sadly we won't ever get that back and our younger generation of fans will never get to experience it. Anyway i've said my piece on the sticker thing and we'll leave it at that.
  18. Do you remember the Annan game at Ibrox midweek ? The one were they all complained about police brutality, kids getting assaulted and thrown aside and cops hitting everyone with batons,The same incident they all claimed they had video evidence and were speaking to solicitors and the club and were going to post it on all the Rangers forums to show what they have to put up with... Funny thing is that nothing was ever posted to back up what they claimed. Do you remember the guy with the bottle of water ? Started off as a simple request from a steward as you aren't allowed them inside the stadium, Was told he could collect it after the match and refused,Cops then got involved along with more stewards and then started jumping over seats to avoid ejection/arrest and then his buddies got involved surrounding the stewards and cops and all kicked off,All over a bottle of water. You also say your group is in no serious threat of being closed, I know that some of them have had meetings with club officials in regards to some of the behaviour and been rapped on the knuckles and warned about future conduct inside the confines of the stadium, No doubt you'll deny this ever happened which is fine.
  19. You obviously do care or you wouldn't be posting, Where also did i say it was a declaration of hatred towards the club ? Show me. As someone else said on this thread your group can't take criticism or advice and is usually met with abuse to those doing so when most are meaning well. I've already told you i like the UB's for the effort they put in with the singing and the banners,But some of them think they live in a fantasy land of being untouchable and unanswerable to anyone and do what they want, If you want me to show you what real ultras are like i'll post some pictures for you.
  20. The groundstaff are paid to maintain and look after the ground, They aren't employed to remove stickers that idiots plaster all over their own stadium, They have plenty to do without having to waste time removing these. Pish spray on the floor,Litter under the seats or birds shitting on the dugouts ? People don't deliberately pish on the floor,Litter you will find at any match and people are actually employed to remove it, You can't control where birds shite, Sticking childish stickers all over the stadium is self inflicted by people who claim to love Rangers and our ground, But think it's funny to DEFACE the stadium and surrounds in a deliberate manner. I don't lose a wink of sleep about what you and your pals do, I feel sorry for the poor people who have to spend hours removing them when they could be doing something more worthwhile. Tell me why they stick them all over the stadium ?
  21. Slow news day in the media and nothing negative to write about Rangers, So they just make things up.
  22. They have already been asked to stop several times and the club have also had complaints from local residents about them being stuck on peoples cars, shop windows and lamposts, The council also threatened at one point to bill the club for the removal of them such was the problem and the amount of complaints about them from locals, Pretty sure this was when the club told them to stop sticking them everywhere. They obviously ignored the clubs wishes. There are also problems with people who the stewards or cops try to eject/arrest from the ground and the cops/stewards are being hampered by others trying to stop this by surrounding or getting in the way to prevent this,The Ibrox security team, cops and stewards are getting quite frustrated with this and if it continues then the club might get to the point where they take drastic action to sort it and close this section down,That's how bad it is.
