  1. Fucks that got to do with what he said, I'm not asking for a reference for him.
  2. Alex Rae on snyde just said that if Rangers did have £100m to spend Rangers would certainly close the gap with the unwashed, But not to say Rangers would overtake them Has Rae totally lost any sense of reality. If Rangers had £100m to spend i'd be thinking how far we would get in the champions league. But Rae thinks we would close the gap, Think his short time at St Mirren has rubbed off on him, Some people say players are as thick as mince, In the case of Rae i think it might be right.
  3. I'm beginning to think it was a sly dig at the media's bumping up of the san giro superstars.
  4. Is what he says in the video not what they are told everytime they turn up for coaching/training, Why then does he have to tell them the same thing at halftime when told what is expected of them and how they are taught to do things, I'm sorry but our youth set up is still a shambles. Listening to him is like a carbon copy of what Warburton says every week.
  5. Are you totally unable to understand what i mean with the saying " It's a gift your born with". Some people are just absolutely gifted when it comes to football and i don't need to give you a list. Technical ability isn't learned or taught in some of the best players either, Go look at some of the young kids on youtube and see how natural they are at a young age with a ball at their feet and some of the stuff they do with a football. You see that's the problem with most coaching, Clubs at times coach kids into playing they way they think they should be playing rather than looking at the cababilitys of the player and getting the best from that player,Getting them to fit into their style of play is a better way of saying it. All this other nonsense with kids running up and down the pitch and doing stretching routines is farcical, Given that most kids are pretty fit at that age and could run all day long without complaint, I've never also heard of kids of nine or ten with pulled hamstrings/calf strains/torn ligaments or groin strains due to not warming up properly.
  6. My brother pulled his two boys out of a kids team for the very same reason, Making 8 and 9yr old kids run up and down a pitch and in the hour they had they were lucky if they played 20mins of football and even that was interrupted stop start. Kids should just be given a ball and let them develop themselves, Good players have natural ability and stick out from those not so good, You can't turn a poor player into a good player,Its a gift your born with.
  7. Is this the same Craig who wants the RFFF money to build a stand. Certainly has his priority's correct. Why also if he's in charge of youth doesn't he look at bringing in better technology in assisting the young players with passing and ball control,Plenty of it out there, I've also never understood the theory of making young lads run up and down pitches or in and out of little cones when they are in peak fitness for their ages. Just practice with the ball and concentrate on the weak points of a player and improve it and fine tune the strong points. To think i used to play on the street with an old burst bladder and holes in my sannies, Compared now to the nanby pamby life of a football player.
  8. Pissed me off no end today watching our fans put into a corner of the stadium out of view of the cameras, Reminded me of the treatment we get at the towers of shame.
  9. Rangers in Scotland is "Showtime" In almost all the Scottish viewing figures from Sky and BT sport we almost always have the most viewers, We take the most fans to away games and regularly set new attendance records at away grounds. The increase in revenue is also fans of other clubs increasing their season ticket sales due to games against Rangers and any increase in investment from Sky and BT is simply because Rangers are back in the top division. Rangers are no doubt the most read about club in Scottish football and comments sections are filled by people talking about Rangers, Not always nice but fills there daily lifes. You can see why fans of other clubs including those in the media can't shut up about us, Because Rangers are indeed the royalty of Scottish football.
  10. Won't make a jot of difference who is involved, It will get the go ahead regardless of who is against it. Perfect example is the G51 group to similar parking restrictions, They had over 4,000 people object to the councils proposals and almost totally ignored despite councilors involved and solicitors. If this goes through it will be nothing to do with local residents, It will just be a reason to screw money from people by towing their cars away knowing the parking is seriously restricted by bringing this in and will make parking spaces a rarity if you can find one, It's pretty bad just now so you can imagine how severe it will be if it's passed. I reckon it will also keep people away from going to games given the lack of parking and the fear of returning to find your car has been lifted or ticketed and would have a knock on affect of Rangers losing money along with the many traders who park on the streets within this new restricted area. Not good news and they are also doing it around the unwashed stadium and it's already in place in Partick.
  11. We don't have the money to bring the quality of player like Naismith, We are where we are and people whether they like it or not have to except this, People can shout from the rooftops and nothing will change. Far to many people think we can wave a magic wand and fix up all the stadium and spend millions on players when we don't have a pot to piss in. I'm not the biggest fan of the board, But you have to look at those who put us in this position we find ourselves in at present and left the club an absolute mess on the field and off it along with the neglect of the stadium. Given that both the stadium needs work done to it and our playing squad needs improved, We are in a scenario of not having the finance to do both and having to juggle what little money we have on one thing at a time. We have no income either from retail,Our sponsorship from Puma and 32Red is absolutely shit, Banks won't touch us and we can't have a share issue, There is next to no money coming into the club and barely keeping our heads above the water totally dependent on the good will of people giving us loans. These loans won't last forever and unless any of the above is sorted in regards to our finances, We could be in a bad place.
  12. Notice he's trying to get his little dig in about his club paying all it's creditors, Falkirk had £2.8m of debt ffs and sold their ground. How many SPFL clubs rent their stadium from the local council. Gordon should also maybe read this from a guy who was heavily involved with Falkirk at the time Colin Liddell OBE Remind you of Rangers Gordon and the people who put our club on it's knees along with the alienation from most of the Scottish media who wanked themselves into a frenzy in the last few years on anything negative about the club. Gordon also thinks it's arrogant to suggest that Rangers are the only team in Scotland who can challenge the unwashed.. Here's a newsflash for you Gordon, Nobody outside Rangers or Celtc has won the Scottish title in nearly 30yrs,Nobody even came anywhere near the unwashed when Rangers were in the lower leagues, Also note the neither SKY or BT sport show any games from the championship now.. Can you guess why Gordon ? Rangers are Scottish football and Scottish football would be nothing without Rangers You continue to throw your toys out of the pram Gordon and enjoy the Championship for the next few years and hopefully you might even own your own stadium one day,Rather than hiring it from the local council.
  13. All expenses paid trip to play a friendly and a match fee of 150,000 Euros, Could have played better but good for our finances.
  14. Well done club1872 and FF just three weeks behind this forum.
  15. Couple of points here from this story. The damage at the dome of shame was months ago and looks like our club saying we were left with damage is the reason it hasn't been paid, Once again if there was indeed damage from the new year game then why didn't the club state this after the game rather than wait until the media are running a story before telling us there was damage. I don't also believe the club has ignored the damage done at the dome and i think the damage has been disputed at the amount they are claiming for it, £40k for a suspended ceiling, A few sinks, couple of mirrors and a couple of toilet cubicles, That seems an awful lot of money. They also say there was 7,000 of the unwashed at Ibrox and all the tickets were £49 and the unwashed owed us £340k.. They had an allocation of 7,500 minimum which adds upto £367,500. Where has the other £27,500 went. I also think that if there is a dispute over costs of damage then if it can't be resolved then the legal route is the only option, I can't see how they can withhold money from us simply because if both party's can't agree then it goes to court. The club perhaps don't agree with the claim for damages and it does sound quite a high amount and perhaps the reason for the dispute,Perhaps also the club didn't get a say as the damage had been repaired and the unwashed simply sent the bill and quite easily the prices have been inflated and the reason the club don't agree. One thing we do want is perhaps the club to state why they haven't paid it and ask why they chose now to tell us there was damage to our stadium rather than wait till it's in the media and retort by saying " well they damaged our stadium". Our board should grow a backbone and a pair of balls.
  16. A BIZARRE Old Firm damage row has erupted after it emerged Celtic withheld ticket cash after chasing Rangers for months over an unsettled bill for wrecked toilets. The Scottish Sun understands Hoops bosses kept around £40,000 owed to the Ibrox side after failing to recoup money for repairs to Celtic Park loos. It comes after a minority of yob Gers fans trashed toilets in the away end at Parkhead during the Old Firm clash in September last year. But Rangers chiefs claim talks over the outstanding bill are still “ongoing” – and said they had been left with their own repair bill after the match between the sides on New Year’s Eve. It’s not been revealed what the nature of these damage claims are. A source said: “Celtic had been trying to get Rangers to pay up for four months but Rangers refused to stump up the cash. “Bosses at Parkhead got fed up with being ignored and took the chance to take matters into their own hands by holding back the ticket cash at New Year. “But Rangers want Celtic to pay for apparent damage caused to Ibrox after the most recent game. “It’s likely this could drag on for some time.” Rangers were due around £340,000 in ticket sales from Celtic after the league match at Ibrox on December 31 - which was attended by 7,000 Hoops supporters. A deal between the sides means the away team sell their own tickets then later hand over the proceeds to the home club. But a chunk of the cash was kept by Parkhead chiefs frustrated over the Ibrox side’s alleged failure to pay the estimated £40k bill for the damage at the earlier game. We told how loos in the away section at the stadium were trashed after the derby on September 10 with cubicles flattened and toilet seats torn off.
  17. Who told you the club is wanting money for damage done ? I'm unaware of any damage done, But expect there may be a few broken seats.
  18. What damage was done ? If they are withholding £40k of ticket money then it means our own club haven't paid for the damage , This could also have been an agreement between the two clubs regards the ticket money and nothing more than the Sun trying to make something out of a nothing story to once again demonize our club. But again if it wasn't an agreement and our board are relying on ticket money to pay for it, It's pretty damming on the financial state of our club. So we have either refused to pay it, Agreement in place to deduct the cost from ticket money or Said we would pay it and haven't and they have got fed up waiting and took the money. Either way yet another stick to beat us with and so much for keeping these agreements between the clubs, They if true could have just retained this £40k without running to the media, Someone from within the dome of shame has leaked this to the media to tar us once again.
  19. The wee willie flasher Forest not only was warned once but warned a second time and his case was also dropped, That's also twice now the thumb has got off scot free,Megan McFadden posted sectarian abuse and was dropped and no punishment. Something very suspect about our judicial system when it comes to the unwashed and we don't need to ask why.
  20. If it's not point scoring then why have you put in "where's the moral crusaders now" in your thread title ? What has the comments in the Sun got to do with Houston and Marshall ? What have you done about the comments in the Sun.
  21. It's obviously a Rangers fan who requested it in order to show McGobblegiver up for the compulsive liar he is. McGobblegiver claimed Rangers were operating without a safety certificate. I find it quite incredible the amount of serious accusations by these people and our club do nothing despite being made aware of it.
