  1. Problem with that is most decent players know they would get more money from a championship team than Rangers,Another problem is that any decent player nearing the end of their contract will also be brought to the attention of other clubs knowing there are no transfer fees and a simple signing on fee. Five years on from 2012 i half expected us to at least have a decent team and getting there,Instead it seems it's one forward and three back. If nothing changes our season tickets will take a big hit as people by now will be well pissed off with all this. Tomorrow we have a celtc supporter in charge of the team and facing a Morton team with three celtc loan players, You would struggle to make some of these things up.
  2. Most of them are on two and three year deals, So highly doubt any of them will be worrying about anything. I remember a long time ago before money ruined the game when players were proud just to wear the jersey and busted their balls on the pitch, Now it's all about the money and how much clubs want to pamper players. It's no longer a mans game.
  3. If Kings budget was £30m to cover everything and he thinks we are behind our target of being competitive, We're truly in a dark place indeed. He also said of that £30m, £18m has already been spent which would leave £12m to get a team worthy of competing for the title and getting a crack at the champions league... King's absolutely deluded if he thinks we could as it stands spend another £12m to compete with the unwashed. I could perhaps see the point if we were just slightly behind them and we had 5 or 6 very good quality players and just needed to top up with a few more, But our team is rank rotten from front to back. I reckon £15/20m would get us at least 5 good quality players to compete much better, But if the unwashed go out in the summer and spend money bringing in more quality players then they will indeed be over the hill and far far away. King and his board do not have the financial muscle to take us to where we need to be and as much as it might hurt him and his boards pride, If they loved the club they way they claim then they would be looking to get people who will move the club forward. Season ticket renewal time will be very interesting if nothing has changed by then.
  4. What were your views on Sandy Easdale the convicted VAT fraudster who was involved with the club along with his gangster brother who was a director ? Were you as vocal about them as you are about King.
  5. King said all that just before other clubs decided to let us play in the top league,Can you guess why he was saying all that. Why also would he have to make an apology ? The BTT isn't to determine if EBT's were illegal, It's simply to determine if those using them should have paid tax and here's another thing... The investigation by the SFA should never have gone ahead given it was still an ongoing court case and should have been set aside until a final decision was made,The SFA investigation led by a guy that employed Liewells daughter and has a hospitality box at Parkhead along with holding all his company's nights out was nothing more than a stitch up. The unwashed have managers, players and CEO's involved in a huge tax scam and one of these so far has been decided by a court of law that it was indeed a tax avasion scheme which is also a criminal offence, Many more of these company's will follow suite in the coming months... Will you be as vocal about these as you are about King ?
  6. McCoist had a contract,Put on gardening leave and was still paid,King stated that Rangers were obliged to pay him as he had a contract,McCoist officially left when both McCoist and the club came to a financial agreement to terminate his contract. McCoist didn't work for months with no contract.
  7. I can't believe that 5yrs down the line we seem no further forward both financially and on the pitch and the only positive thing over the last five years seems to be our fans have done what they said they would do and stuck by the club. Rangers would have to pay the sheep substantial compensation but there is no chance the sheep would even entertain it, He isn't good enough to take us forward and granted they have finished second in the last couple of years, He won't come up against teams who lift their game every week, The Rangers job despite our situation right now is an absolutely huge job where the demands are even bigger and everything Rangers do both on and off the pitch is forensically examined on a daily basis by an inane media who love negativity about Rangers, He won't get that at Aberdeen, Their fans are quite happy to finish in the top three and winning the odd rare silverware every few years, Their expectations fall well below what Rangers and our fans expect on a yearly basis. The easy part is getting a manager in, The hard part is having to work with players who underperform on a regular basis knowing you won't have the money to add the quality you need to improve, The most worrying thing for me right now is how this will affect our football, We could easily start to lose games every week and get worse and end up well out of contention of a place in Europe and worse case scenario fighting to keep in the top six, We could totally implode,Continue to drop points and start sliding down the table. When Rangers went into admin it was the worse feeling in the world and many many people said it could take at least 5yrs to recover, Five years are now here and we haven't really recovered nor moved forward and the unwashed are miles in front of us with little sign of pulling them back anytime soon. The next thing that will happen if nothing changes is supporters will start voting with their feet and could easily see thousands not renew season books next season due to no investment and broken promises. The Rangers board should do well to remember that boards come and go,Players come and go,Employees come and go.. But Rangers fans are for life and deserve the Rangers team we all long for,If the board can't move us forward then they should look to selling the club to someone who can and pay for their own season tickets like thousands of us do. I'm in absolute shock at what's happened tonight as will many others and no doubt our detractors and those in the media will be laughing their pathetic arses off, That's the absolute mentality of Scottish football.
  8. I'm 99% sure Davies will be the next manager, He would never last in the fishbowl of Glasgow and absolutely hates being criticized by anyone, The sheer pressure of the media putting him under the microscope on a daily basis is something he will never have experienced and he will lose the plot. He also claimed previously he was offered the Rangers job by a third party and it's no different now to when he claims he was offered the job. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14294567.Billy_Davies__I_knocked_back_Rangers_job_because_there_was_too_much_politics_and_too_little_football/ And then there was this which he was quoted as saying http://www.scotsman.com/sport/agent-puts-billy-davies-in-frame-for-celtic-1-800756 Appointing Davies will be like one step forward and three steps back, But the board will like the fact that he comes cheap and no compensation to pay to another club and he will never take the club in the direction we aim to be, I would also imagine the Rangers job will be far better paid than what he's getting at Sky and he won't take much to be persuaded to come and wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he has already dined with Gilligan and Murray and that's all i'm saying. Wonder if he will invite his Z list friends from Cardonald and maybe help themselves to the free bar in hospitality. Sorry he's not for me and won't improve us one bit. We also have to take into account he will have no money for players and he will get nothing more from the players we have and his first game in charge could quite possibly be against the unwashed at the dome of shame and could suffer another heavy defeat given our form. Hard to bear thinking if he was anywhere near the managers job at Ibrox.
  9. I would like to assume that in matters which have happened that both Warburton and Rangers would have put any agreements in writing and in a legal way to protect both party's. If it turns out a case of "He said "She said" then i can foresee yet another court case if one party is in disagreement, Given how badly the club has been run over the past few years with paying players and management off along with all the court cases, I can't imagine Weir and Warburton walking away with not a bean in their pockets and could end up with the board coming to a financial agreement with both of them, Only if Weir and Warburton are of the opinion Rangers are wrong, That's why it would be important to have all this drawn up legally and in duplicate. Normally when managers leave it's almost always the club who suffer financially and Warburton isn't a silly man.
  10. What we can be assured of is the usual " There will be no further comment from the club. Warburton " I won't be making any further comment at present". Is it really that difficult for one party to just come out and be honest and tell the truth rather than leave Rangers supporters running around asking what's going on. The lifeblood of the club and always the last to find out. Warburton and Weir leaving will also have a huge affect on the players because now their minds will be elsewhere wondering what's going on and who's coming in, Not exactly the build up you want two days before a cup game and Duffy will also know this and will fire his players up. Also releasing a statement at 9.00pm on a Friday night is shocking, Traynor should never have been allowed to step back inside Ibrox after some of the things he said and we should be well shot of the fat bastard.
  11. On the upside given how Warburton is always telling us how good the players are that he brought,Perhaps we can see some hefty bids for them in the summer,If they are that good he will take them with him to his new club. Kiernan,Waghorn and McKay, £15m and there all yours Mark.
  12. That tells you all you need to know about how Rangers fans are treated,Always left in total confusement and the last to know anything,I wouldn't be surprised if the real story behind all this never get's told.
  13. If they done that they would be in breach of contract, That wouldn't have happened anyway. More than likely another case of the most despicable people in football, The agents.. Sticking their noses in to make yet more money. It's all well reading story's of saving the club money but it also means it's almost a certainty we will be employing a manager who at present doesn't have a club and no compensation to pay. Take your pick from McLeish,Rae,Davies. I notice also on the club statement this below How the fuck does a board think a new management team can take us forward and challenge to be the best in Scotland by spending £3m. The reason also we are clearly short of where to be expected at this time is because of serious lack of any real investment in the team to add proper quality to get us to challenge to be the best in Scotland, Wind in the willow statements like Kings are the very reason we aren't challenging. Expect to be fully disappointed and take your pick from McLeish,Davies or Rae. My bets are on the cheap option of Davies being appointed.. God help us.
  14. Is it possible that when it was reported that Warburton was down south speaking to a player, Would it might be the case he was actually down speaking to officials from Nottingham forrest. He claimed today in the press conference he was down speaking to a coach about a player that the coach knew and a player Rangers might be interested in. Why would Warburton be down speaking to a coach,Isn't that the job of our head of recruitment.
  15. They won't play like that tomorrow, They will sit in and counter when they get the chance. Park the bus.
  16. If that's his wife Prior has a 12in cock or ties tenners round his cock.
  17. Thats just the way it is right now and nothing is going to change even though it's hard to except, They may be 25pts in front because there is no challenge from anyone in the league and the only real challenge from any team capable of taking the league is from Rangers. The unwashed aren't this team the media would have you believe that are completely untouchable, They are nothing more than £15/20m in front of us, They are more or less the same team we knocked out of the Scottish cup with the exception of two players who cost them £4m. I don't know where £15/20m is coming from, But that is what's required to add the quailty we need to rope them back and challenge them.
  18. Shouldn't underestimate Ross county, They are a decent club and another who we have failed to beat in two previous games and another team who will lift their game against us,Couple of good players up front especially Boyce. They put loads of crosses into the box and judging by our weakness at them they could create problems for us, Their defence isn't the greatest and could no doubt see them play the same as Motherwell did with two banks of defenders when we attack them which will be sore on the eyes once again, This is why we should use the wings and throw balls into their box and be more direct instead of this tippy tappy shite around their box. This is a must win game for Rangers. 3-1 Rangers
  19. His remit is to get us second place and into Europe and i'm pretty sure at the end of the season most would be happy with that. Here's another thing to ponder for the "Warburton needs to go" People. Warburton goes along with Weir and their backroom staff... Who takes over as interim manager straight away ?
  20. Who did you have in mind to bring in ? I'm just as angry at that performance tonight as you, But telling him were to go doesn't solve the problem,Managers and backroom staff would need paid off from their contracts and we can't afford to do that. Tonight was a sore one to take but the answer seems to be to get rid of Warburton when we don't have the cash to get rid. A decent manager isn't going to touch us with a bargepole given there would be no budget for players and could be left with players he doesn't want. To win a war you need to win all the small battles, Tonight was a battle we should have won on paper, People should know by now how poor we are away from home against the teams around us.
  21. How much did Smith spend compared to Warburton ?
  22. What's the story with this ? I've read conflicting reports about this, Apparently the interview either was given before the match started or it was quotes from an interview from a past game.
  23. Chelsea have 38 players out on loan,Gilmour would just be another who would play perhaps in the youths for a while and then loaned out,Chelsea also have some very good young players who can't get near the first team. Gilmour would be making a huge mistake going to Chelsea, Given also that he has been at Rangers for years and everything the club has done for him, It would be better if he signed a pro contract when he turns 16 and at least get Rangers a lot more than they would now if he went before he turns 16. I seen the exact same thing about Robert Fleck and how he was the new Rooney and the same term was used about him being a wonderkid. Gilmour is a decent player for his age and does pretty well in the 20's when he plays, But claims of him being a "superstar" or "wonderkid" is just over egging it. If he goes to Chelsea he will just be another young player lost in the sea of other players out on loan and will just bounce around loan clubs. If Rangers played it cute and had a think about it they could do this, Give him a pro contract,Get's money into the club and if the club were even cuter part of the deal could be asking for one of the Chelsea players like Musonda or Chalobah on loan that would add quality to our team. The young lad has some very big decisions to make and hope he isn't being swayed by the bright lights of London and the money.
  24. Would much rather have kept him, It's looking like he has came to a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract,Hopefully that's all it is and hopefully we haven't once again filled another players pockets. Smashing big keeper and never put a foot wrong in the games he did play, All the best big Gilks.
  25. We don't use the front entrance at all now,All our business is done from Argyle house. It's quite sad that we do this as our front entrance is a sight to behold and very impressive, But we don't have the office space or enough communication points for everyone, Argyle house has what we need but given it's the first point of contact with anyone coming to the club, The reception area is diabolical for a club of our history and stature.
