The Club should ask ST holders to confirm if they want to stand, then build a standing section based on that numbers I hope if this happens it won't just be moving all the UBs in. There's plenty of fans all over the stadium who'd prefer to stand

See when they introduced seating was there a bunch auld cunts going "I've stood there for years and don't wanty move, dunno why folk would wanty sit anyway"? 
If the stadiums being changed it's being changed and folk will have to move to accommodate the changes. End of.

It's a complete no brainer they should make the whole enclosure standing

The sad thing is this discussion tipifies the problems in our fractured support.  
Everyone is completely self serving, and even when they're not they still get their wee dig in or play to their own egos. 
However, a standing area is a good idea in theory, it would undoubtedly help generate a better atmosphere. 
The logistics might be the challenge, but that's why it would be useful to see the UBs proposals.

Personally I'd offer the chance to stay or a discounted season ticket elsewhere.

I do wish they'd stop with the whole "atmospheres been dwindling for years patter" the atmosphere has improved in the past couple of years and some will read their statement like it's saying "we are the only ones who can fix this since no one else cares"
A section where all singing fans were together, singing lots of songs and not just ones started by a guy with a megaphone would go a long way to improving the atmosphere

It's frustrating when 2nd division teams in europe have ultras sections the size of the Broomloan stand and we've got a group in one subsection of the stand
Then You look at the likes of Gate 13 with their pyro displays and we get shafted for throwing paper

Plenty if people, myself included, want to be in an area of stadium where there is singing and atmosphere without having to join a group like the UBs, a standing section would give us that option

The section would have to be at least the size of CF1-3 and preferably the whole CF to fit everyone. The Club seem to do a half arsed job of everything 
If a standing section doesn't go thru then there should be a proposal to turn either all of BF or CF into a singing section where the UBs and everyone else who wants to sing can go
