  1. Preudhomme CV is very impressive and he's got a record of turning clubs around into champions. We had a chance to get him after Pedro was sacked but the board didn't take it. He put out a statement saying he was interested in the job. But our board instead went for Mciness.
  2. Aberdeen were wanting 1 million for Mciness. I can't imagine many wanted to pay that for him.
  3. Preudhomme CV is really impressive. He had a record of taking struggling clubs and turning them round. He would have been a good shout after pedro. But the board messed this one up. He said he was interested in the job. But king and co after several weeks went for big game bottler mciness. I can't imagine the guy will still be interested after being knocked back.
  4. Pearson is a good shout. A lot have given him credit for building the Leicester team that won the title. I also would love to see him tear into the Scottish press. His interviews down in England were hilarious. McLaren for me is a no go. His record at his recent clubs has been horrific. He could prove people wrong but it's a huge gamble when we are trying to stop 10. I've been saying Clarke as he's already shown he can get results in the league. His turn around at killie has been outstanding. I can't help but wonder what he could do with our squad and resources.
  5. All I've sent is comments he's a tarrior or a rabid fan. The only link to them is a failed move and then he went to Chelsea. The other is he said he didn't want the job. The guy was in charge at killie for 1 month at the time. Do you really think he's going to say he wants the job. Look what that did to Marco Silva at watford. Form collapsed and he was out a job soon after. What clarke has done in 5 months is hugely impressive. As well as making there defence well organised and taking them from bottom to 5th. He's turned Kris Boyd back into a top flight striker again. He's now the leading scorer in the league with 15. Let that sink in for second Boyd who only managed 8 goals in the championship with us over 2 seasons in his last spell. He's also beaten them in the league. We've been through 3 managers and still not pulled that off. Of course we should be looking at him. He's experienced, affordable and a contender for manager of the year. The ones saying he's not up to it. Who would you go for instead?
  6. Are you serious. Neil McCann who won 3 league titles including the title win at parkhead. On the day he scored 2 of the 3 goals. He also won 4 Scottish cups and 3 league cups. If that is not a Rangers legend what is.
  7. This board simply don't have a clue how to get things done on the pitch. They seem to stumble from one disaster to the next. The farce that was Warburtons exit. The appointment of Pedro. Appointing the DOF after the manager was already in place and spent millions. The mciness approach. Waiting 8 weeks and after murty had already beaten him twice to make an approach. We are stuck with them for the foreseeable as no one else is intersted. Unless a fan ownership can be done.
  8. I'd take him in a heartbeat. 2 games against us and he's bossed the midfield both times. Out of contract in the summer. We should at least make the approach.
  9. Murty has overseen 5 of our 7 loses at ibrox. 2 of which were to teams in the bottom half of the league. Of the 7 loses Advocatt had 2 where at home. 1 of which was in Europe. We have also got to remember the league was much stronger back then. As for the manager that fits the bill. IMO he was in the opposition dugout yesterday. Clarke has turned killie round in 5 months. I don't think it would cost much to get him and he's shown he can get the results in scotland. He's beaten both old firm.
  10. We need an experienced manager at the helm. I've said Clarke many a time. He's got the experience and has shown he can get results in Scotland A new goalkeeper is a must for me. Wes is a good shot stopper but his positioning is terrible. He's beaten with long range effort to often. We need a reliable back 2. No nonsense centre backs who can command the box and defend from set pieces. You have to go back to weir and bougherra to find the last partnership we could have confidence in. We also need leadership and strength in the midfield. Mulumbu is out of contract and I'd love to get him. Last 2 games he's bossed the midfield.
  11. I would agree that performances have improved. We have certainly played better football under murty at times. When compared to the utter dross Pedro served up. But it's not good enough. Defensively we are still a bomb scare. We are also far too predictable. Murty can't change a game when it's going against us. It's Warburton 2.0. Same approach regardless. We need a change and a tried and tested manager at the helm.
  12. Dig into more detail with those stats and you see the major issues. The majority of those loses for murty have been at home. Teams don't fear coming to ibrox anymore. This season Hamilton, st Johnstone, hibs, them and now killie have left with full points. We are entering a critical time now. They are chasing 8 next season. We can't wait in the hope murty will come good. We need a tried and tested manager who can turn ibrox back into a fortress.
  13. It amazes me that those on the board have successful businesses elsewhere judging on how they run the club. There has been positives like retaken control of the retail. But they have no idea how to bring success onto the pitch. Pedro was a disaster everyone could see coming. And then we go for Mciness a proven big match bottler. As much as we want rid of the board there's no one wanting to buy. Big investors will be looking down at England not Scotland. Fan ownership seems the only way to go. A model similar to Barcelona with elected people onto the board.
  14. Read that Brenda sacked Clarke after taking over at liverpool. Clarke managed to beat him with West brom when he was at Liverpool and got the better of him again with killie. We need a manager that can hit the ground running next season. Clarke turned that killie team around in 5 months. I think with our squad and resources he can get us 55.
  15. I think today should rule out any hope of murty getting the job permanent. He's now lost at home to Hamilton, st Johnstone, hibs, them and killie. this is not the record of a man who deserves the Rangers job. I can only see things going from bad to worse. Time has come for us to move and get an experienced manager.
  16. I get that murty is inexperienced but how can he not have worked out a game plan to go against packed midfields and defences. Every team coming to ibrox right now knows exactly what we are going to do before we even do it.
  17. If the board appointment murty as permanent manager in the summer it's a straight up admission that they don't have the funds or the ability to take the club foward. It worries me that possible mangers who can do a job are being put off by the amatuer way this board has operated.
  18. It's not just today for me. The home form under murty has been atrocious and he needs to be judged on it. Hamilton, st Johnstone, Hibs, them and now killie have beaten us at home on his watch.
  19. Murty is a coach being asked to do a task he's not ready for or capable of doing. He reminds me so much of Warburton it's unreal. 1 set of tactics and no ability to change it if games aren't going our way.
  20. Mulumbu out of contract in the summer. Jones I can't see. Board pissed off kille with low offers. They'll not want to sell to us.
  21. Clarke has said he's a killie fan. But a lot insist he's a tarrior End of the day the most important thing is we stop 10. Clarke ticks all the boxes for me. After Pedro most wanted a British manager with experience. Clarke has plenty of experience and has shown he can get results in our league. We should approach him now and try to get him in. If we stick with murty until the end of the season I see more of the same. Today was a copy of games vs Hamilton, st Johnstone, hibs and them. He can't change a game when it's not going our way.
  22. I'm glad Mciness didn't want the job. Embarrassing as it was to get knocked back. He has shown he bottles the big games. 10 straight losses to them says it all. Clarke has already beaten them and now us twice. We should be making the approah as IMO he will improve and mould a squad that can do 55. I would also hope he brings Mulumbu with him. I'd love to see that guy in a Rangers midfield.
  23. Clarke's record down south isn't as bad as people make out. Clarke led West Brom to a Club record of league wins with 14. He also took Reading to an fa cup semi final. We're not going to get a manager with a proven record of winning trophies right now. Rodgers didn't even have that when he showed up coming close to the premeirship was his biggest accomplishment. I've seen a few saying he's a tarrior. Guys a killie fan. His brother played for them and he's said the same in interviews. His only link to them was a move that collapsed and he went to Chelsea. We took Miller back after he played for them. He's got experience, contender for manager of the year and shown he can get results in Scottish football. Ticks all the boxes for me.
