For me, it’s a mixture of things, we’re not scoring enough goals from midfield and lacking a creative midfielder.
At the same time however, we’re hardly lacking in the chance creation department and I’d say sometimes we just don’t take our chances, the previous 2 games for example.
I’d honestly be looking at giving Pena a run of games after January if he’s still here. Burst his balls in training and If he gets through it, give him his chance.
Ultimately there’s nothing to lose by giving him an opportunity. He either grasps is with both hands or he fucks it up and we’re none the worse.

We’ve went from being solid at the back and only conceding the odd goal, to conceeeding nearly every game.
I genuinely remember being shocked/surprised if we conceded at the start of the season.
Gerrard needs to play for following back 4 every game unless injured:
Tav-Goldson-Katic-Barasic
Midfield should be:
Arfield-Jack-McCrorie
Forwards:
Candeais-Morelos-Grezda

I think this could be interesting.
I fully believe Gerrard will give Pena a chance, clean slate like everyone had at the beginning of the season. It will be up to Pena if he wants to make the most of it and play European football for the next couple of years.
Didn’t one of the backroom staff (Culshaw?) formerly coach in Brazil(?) he’ll be able to tell Pena exactly what he wants on the training ground, and push him.

yet it appears it was obvious to the assistant who called it as a foul, but heyho guess we should ignore that?
The fourth officials don’t make decisions mate...
SpoilerUnless it involves sending a Rangers player off...
Anyone who says that it isn’t a foul, away fuck off back to KDS.
I won’t blame it on the ref for losing the game, as Ejaria should’ve took one for the team and clattered on of them at the half way line, then Tav and Kent doing the fake jogging back is what cost the fucking goal.
Tav, Ejaria and Kent should be dropped as their attitude in the lead up to that goal was shocking.

Fine i'll forgive today.
However, the facts stand that we are sitting 7th in the league, with only 1 goal scored, more than conceded.
Whatever way you slice it, the start to this season, Europe aside, is shocking.
As far as i'm concerned i'd rather we didn't make the Europa League if it means we are going to be flat on our feet for every league game and concede stupid late goals.

If Gerrard honestly thinks that the way that team was set up to play against them was acceptable, then I’m sorry, but he does not understand this club as much as he says he does.
For those who say Walter was set up similar, bullshit.
At least Walters teams would attack them on the counter, that first half we done nothing.
Second half was terrible also.
For me, our performances as a whole, compared to the first couple of games, have went backwards. We’ve moved forward a little from last year, but we seem to have dipped in the last 3/4 games.
Not good enough. If we continue like this, Gerrard will be under immense pressure come Christmas.

I like Tav, I can forgive losing your man once at a set play, fair enough, it happens.
But to lose your man twice, in the same game, and concede 2 goals because of it?
That’s unnacceptable.

Could we be the first club that Gerrard has ever won a league title with?

Unfuckingbelieveable.

Go fucking cry and moan about it in general sports or something eh.
Why?
It may not directly be about Rangers, however it is directly about the ongoing bias of refereeing which this instance showcases, which does affect us.
A missed, minor kick out from Morelos gets a straight red under the direction of a linesman/4th official.
A deliberate thrown elbow, which actually makes contact, is not even a foul, and is missed by the ref, the linesman and the 4th official.
The only way we get rid of the bias is to attack it head on and put these fuckers in their place.

I’m sitting at work and all the Tims are going nuts about their shitty team, complaining about how Lafferty always scores against them and Hearts kicked them about. Moaning that Boyata is not showing any loyalty to celtic and Rodgers will see out his full contract “cos he’s pure in love with celtic”

FYI to anyone that usually uses a VPN for RTV in the UK, haven’t read all the thread, but you only need the VPN on for the initial buffering/loading of the stream, then you can just turn it off and watch it.
Great for something like the free version of Tunnelbear as you only get 500Mb per month (with a free 1Gb if you tweet them).

Didnt know you could deliberately kick a player and only get a yellow for it. Good that he isn't going to be suspended, but he really needs to control his temper before he costs us more points needlessly.

He had the potential to become a proper brilliant player imo, but he was too thick to realise it, hence the laziness and acting like a tit.
Tbh I’m more just about Bible John leaving, although I’ve read that it was due to personal circumstances more than anything else?
-
Brilliant signing. Delighted with it. A big thing that I’ve not seen mentioned is that he was their captain. So it’s another good player who can be a leader on the park where required.
I’m guessing he will be playing against St Midden this weekend with Flanno plying midweek.

Any news on Jack?
Concussion.
If light, will be out for 7 days, if worse, which it probably was considering the force, and the fact that he didn't see it coming to brace for impact, possibly 14 days+.
I believe the minimum is 7 days regardless of severity though, due to the potential of severe damage being caused if another head injury is sustained soon after.

The assistant only seen Morelos kick out Considering the last barge was not even a second before the kick out
Aye, total fucking nonsense.
Although he may not be lying, he maybe meant that he only "chose to see" the Morelos action.
That sounds about right. Cheating fucking bastards.

He's building a seige mentality, which is exactly what we need.
Says what we wanted him to say.
It’s a start, something that no-one else has done at the club.

Steven Gerrard, Rangers manager:
”Anyone watching that game can see we were better than Aberdeen.”
”Whoever has seen the kick for the red card, has somehow missed 2 deliberate barges to provoke before it.”

2 points lost today, once again, terrible refereeing to blame in part.

noticed that too.think it's for Arfields challenge earlier in the passage of play .
A booking that never gets given .but used to take the heat of the ridiculous devlin nonsense
Airfields challenge won the ball though, it was a great challenge.
He caught the player, but won the ball fairly.
