Spot on, everybody I know to a man seen mcgregor throw a couple of points away with unexpected errors last season and said it was time for McLaughlan to get his big chance but 40 or not he’s still our best goalie and there’s a reason some guys are back up goalies. There’s always better number 1 options out there. Quite clearly young McCrorie is a fan boy of the status of being a gers player considering he’s still here but it shouldn’t stop us of recruiting a good keeper to replace shagger?

Expectations within the fan base should always be optimistic as we’re a club built on success. The day we’re satisfied not to get embarrassed against a better level of opposition just to save face is the day you become irrelevant as a club. I’ve seen worse Rangers squads refusing to lose to far better teams than that Liverpool team that we witnessed tonight. For me the manager is culpable. No out ball. No ability from midfield to support the lone striker who had nothing to work off and no quality on the ball when we got it back. A captain who clearly doesn’t understand a back three as was popping up on the left wing etc and our best defensive midfielder devoid of confidence sitting on the bench. We’re underperforming and that’s on the manager for me 100%.

I’ve not got a clue what Gio is trying to achieve the way he sets his teams up and the personal he uses so what chance do the players have. Never laid a glove on them which is the most frustrating thing. You’d think he’d know his best 11 by now but can’t recall the last time the same 11 started two games in a row other than out of stubbornness after the parkhead debacle. Troubling times ahead of this is what we’ve become. A team happy just to be at the party. The supporters deserve better 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️
