simple 4-4-2 by far the most effective formation, good width with the abilty to beat players either side, two very capable footballers in the middle on there day, plenty of pace and work ethic, and ability hopeefully in laffertys case, not the best defensive but the best we can field more then nough there to put a few past hearts

if we go 4-5-1 sit back we will lose this game

Don't trust anyone else at the back, so it's time to find someone new. Davis and Mendes won't work without a more defensive minded player alongside them, hence Edu at DM. Up front is up for grabs, since I haven't been convinced by anyone that they can perform the lone striker role.

I just wish Walter could have a look at this poll and see what it reveals. 86% of people don't want us to play a defensive midfielder and the one's that do (genreally) would prefer Maurice Edu to the likes of Christian Dailly and Lee McCulloch. Nobody wants to see Kyle Lafferty on the left but yet everybody wants him up-front, finally everybody wants to see Aaron Niguez. I really just wish that Walter could get to see this poll and finally realize how unpopular some of his team selections and substitutions are.

There's only 2 differences from Walter's lineup which are Miller would have started for us instead of Boyd and Niguez would have started for us instead of Beasley.
