My sister and her mates was staying in loch lomond and met most of the Scotland national team the day before the italy match last year (mcleish, hutton, ferguson, boyd, gordon, hartley, mcfadden etc) my mum met kenny miller as well on buchanan street one time. i have met jackie bird though... It was weeks before the World Cup 2006, just after the end of the season I think. As one of the coaches of the U11's, we took them round with the tour guide. We got just to the corridor where John Greig's office when Hamed Namouchi walks by. He got stopped by the tour guide who promptly asked if any of the lads knew who he was. One of the wee lads pops up confidently and says "It's Marvin Andrews!". Namouchi just laughed and walked off, saw the funny side of it. Most famous foreign ones would be Maradona (at a book signing) Zidane, Raul, Casillas, Di Stefano, Figo (basically everyone who was over with Real Madrid for the CL final at Hampden) Roberto Baggio (twice) and Wesley Sneijder (friend of a friend and met him a few times when he was at Ajax) my burd used to go out with Andres Iniesta when he was at La Masia.
