I dont think hes worth that as such but if a team doesnt want to sell a player then the team that wants to buy him has to pay over the odds. The larger sums never get paid in a oner - you dont think Ronaldo went to Madrid and the next day Man U had £80m in their bank account? It will take years for Madrid to pay that - the spurs fee is set over a few years as well -- all big money deals get payments made in installments. And with only 3 weeks of the window left, any signings from it would reek of panic buying. Unless we could then buy the players we were unable to previously thanks to being skint.
