Another question about boyds contract (must have been sleeping when the question was answered about 25 mins ago)

General - are you able to ask a question?

If so, could you ask the following:

"HAS THE CHAIRMAN (JOHNSTONE) EVER HAD ANY BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH THE 'ONLY SHOW I TOWN' GENTLEMAN?"

"IF NOT........DOES HE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM?"

Just back form the AGM Resolution 5 was a sham going to a poll vote the majority at the AGM was against Resolution 5 but will see at 08:30 tomorrow what will be announced no doubt that the proxie votes was the majority.

Mclelland could clearly see the majority against but we don't count hands do we.

Resolution 5 should have went to a postal vote.

Rant over

Resolution 5 - To re-elect as a Director D.W Muir who retires in accordance with the company's articles of Association and, being eligible offers himself for Re-election.

A show of hands was good enough for the other 7 Resolutions so why not Resolution 5 Stevie Wonder would have clearly saw the majority against again we have to wait untill 08:30 tomorrow before the result of Resolution 5 is released. I already know the answer is against but the good old Proxys will push it through no doubt.

Rangers shareholders had the opportunity to ask the board about the club's future at the agm at Ibrox Stadium.

It promised to be a lively meeting, given Rangers' debts stand at more than £30m and the search for a buyer.

Shareholders probed chairman Alastair Johnston about potential investors and about what influence the bank holds, but confirmation of Smith's contract situation was the first news to emerge from Ibrox.

Johnston said he has had talks with some parties about a supporter-based takeover of the club.

"Individual fans have demonstrated interest and ability to move towards participation and ownership and we have been in discussions with certain of those," he told shareholders.
