jaywujing123 0
Pop stars today enjoy a style of living which was once the prerogative only of Royalty. It is wow gold, only right that the stars should be paid in this way. Don’t the top men in industry earn enormous salaries for the services they perform to their companies and their countries? Pop stars earn vast sums in foreign currency – often more than large industrial concerns – and the taxman can only be grateful fro their massive annual contributions to the exchequer. So who would begrudge them their rewards? It’s all very well for World of Warcraft gold, people in humdrum jobs to moan about the successes and World of Warcraft gold rewards of others. People who make envious remarks should remember that the most famous stars represent only the tip of the iceberg. For every famous star, there are hundreds of others struggling to earn a living. A man working in a steady job and looking forward to a pension at the end of it has no right to expect very high rewards. He has chosen security and peace of mind, so there will always be a limit to what he can earn. But a man who attempts to become a star is taking enormous risks. He knows at the outset that only a handful of competitors ever get to the very top. He knows that years of concentrated effort may be rewarded with complete failure. But he knows, too, that the rewards for success are very high indeed: they are the recompense for the huge risks involved and if he achieves them, he has certainly earned them. That’s the essence of private enterprise.

Adoniram 1,919
I did ask earlier on in the thread Markinch for more information and if this was only being circulated on certain message boards as many bears don't know anything about it.
markinch5 0
I did ask earlier on in the thread Markinch for more information and if this was only being circulated on certain message boards as many bears don't know anything about it.Apologies for not answering your question earlier. I am not an organiser of this and was only asked if i would post the details on this board and as such cannot say for certain every board the details have been posted. If you want to post the details on another board then that would be excellent. What the guys organising this want to do is raise the memorial so it can be seeen and have it refurbished, plant some trees and flowers in that area. They also plan to have a bench in their memory in the local church and also im sure that the secondery schools the boys attended have been contacted with the view of giving them a shield and cups for their football and netball teams to compete for again in the boys memory. I'm sure i did say somewhere earlier in the thread that the guys post on FF but its something independent they are doing themselves as one of the guys is from the same area as the boys and not a FF project in anyway at all. *Manticore* 1,893
From kevger1 on FF:Things Like this that make the Markinch Project worthwhile Just received this e mail from Shane Fenton who had been talking earlier to Peter Easton's mother.Kevger1Just had a talk with Mrs Easton earlier there she is over the moon and think's it's 'marvellous' what you's are doing, and that she is only glad that she is still around to see it all happening. She is going to be attending the service on Sunday. Her son Dirk is picking her up.She also commented about not being able to see the stone for the shrubs when she past it walking along the street. All the hard work that goes on behind the scenes makes it all the more worthwhile when you read a small simple mail like that.Even down to the fact that we are removing the old overgrown shrubs so that the people will be able to see the actual new memorial stone in all its new glory. If you are reading this and you have contributed a pound or bought a shirt for £705 then this thread is for you. Its YOU who have made this happen. If there is anyone looking in who is a member of any other messageboard who has taken this cause to their hearts then please copy and paste it and place it on your own boards too.We have been at pains to point out since the start of this project that the funding has come from ( as the plaque we are giving to the school says ) FROM RANGERS SUPPORTERS WORLDWIDE.This funding is not from any solitary individual , messageboard or organisation , its from all of us. Its from me and more importantly its from YOU
