Ahh there's a trick here isn't there ... was he in the band in the players lounge after the game? :pipe:

Getting close, in a band but on the pitch before the game.

Every country had some sort of act, Scotland had a pipe band.......

Our total wages for last season were £30.7m and theirs were £38.8m.

Since then we have lost Ferguson and Mendes and others such as Adam and Dailly. They have taken on Keane at £65K a week. The accuracy of these figures is questionable at best.

They got rid of alot of people too. Caldwell, McManus, Nakamura, Macdonald, Robson, Hartley, Hesselink.

I imagine Nakamura and Hesselink will have been on pretty good wages. And they've replaced them with players bought from pub teams who will be earning peanuts compared to the experienced guys they sold.

i dont think thats right its been well documented that celtics wage bill is way higher than ours its been on the radio numerous time since keane and kamara signed the wage is nearly 120,000 a week just between they 2 thats why desmond stepped in and pays keanes wages out his own pocket :uk:

I checked out the players contracts at http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk which says we have 23 players and a monthly wage of £2,778,261, and they have 30 players with a wage of £2,643,000

I am inclined to believe them, since they are German. Is there anyway to find out who is on what amount?

Looking at the contract expiries isn't good reading either:

Kirk Broadfoot - 30.06.2010

Steven Smith - 30.06.2010

Andrew Little - 30.06.2010

DaMarcus Beasley - 30.06.2010

Gregg Wylde - 30.06.2010

Kris Boyd - 30.06.2010

Nacho Novo - 30.06.2010

David Weir - 30.06.2010

Neil Alexander - 30.06.2011

Saša Papac - 30.06.2011

Daniel Wilson - 30.06.2011

Lee McCulloch - 30.06.2011

Kevin Thomson - 30.06.2011

Kenny Miller - 30.06.2011

Kyle Lafferty - 30.06.2011

Andrius Velicka - 30.06.2011

Allan McGregor - 30.06.2012

Steven Whittaker - 30.06.2012

Madjid Bougherra - 30.06.2012

Steven Davis - 30.06.2012

Steven Naismith - 30.06.2012

Maurice Edu - 30.06.2013

John Fleck - 30.06.2013

I would guess that the win bonuses Rangers have had to pay out over the last few seasons would be the cause of any wage differential. Winning fuck all, the mhankies are saving a few quid. Simples.

We have to offer Davis a contract soon, with only two years left to run on his clubs will start sniffing round soonish!

Losing Steven Davis for potentially nothing

in two years time would be nothing short of a monumental

disaster :sherlock:

Agree
