BlueIsTheColour 35
I'd go with:CasillasRamos Pique Puyol CapdevilaIniesta Alonso Xavi SilvaVilla Torres Completely agree with that, barring injuries i think that will be the team which starts the tournament. And by God it's hard to beat. Ryan_1 1,136
What a squad that is there. On paper, Spain should walk it, but in a World Cup, anything is possible and nothing is certain. Also, I can't believe Victor Valdes has never won a cap for Spain. Goes to show just how good Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina are, to keep out someone who has been Barcelona's number one for a good few years now. Winning two Champions League titles and La Liga four times.
Amac9 2,060
What a squad that is! CasillasRamos Puyol Pique CapdevillaXavi Alonso IniestaFabregas Villa Torres Think we might see that but they have so many options.

Winning two Champions League titles and La Liga four times.Crazy that. Think Spain could be the first country to win the world cup outside of Europe. That is a truly class and talented team. Can't wait for this World Cup to start.

bluenose_72 198
All depends on his fitness. Although I guess Spain have fitness worries over other players aswell - Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas.

sdunsmb 43
Easily favorites. However, the altitude/climate will not suite them so be interesting to see if that has an effect.
keithgersbear 3,225
CasillasRamos Puyol Pique CapdevillaIniesta XaviNavas Fabregas SilvaVilla Not 1 defensive minded player in that whole midfield area. That would not work, sides with more power could beat that team like England.
