December 2005.Rangers finally sign a striker that would go on to break and make all kind of scoring records after years of being hungry for a goalscorer in Kris Boyd. Stephen Smith from the Rangers Supporters Trust was urging Rangers supporters to write to Tim Blott en masse complaining of perpetual Rangers slanderer, 'The Odious Creep', Graeme Speirs. Alex McLeish was in the final throws of his term as Rangers manager and the club were looking forward to playing in the last 16 of the Champions League after a thrilling draw with Inter Milan. Yet, somewhere in the depths of cyberspace, something we think as being quite special was also borne from the death of the old BBC messageboards, the forum and news site we now know as RangersMedia.

Welcome to the NEW RangersMedia.com!

Welcome to Rangers Media: an unofficial Rangers FC fan site.

We are also a free forum site for supporters of Rangers Football. It

is our hope that we can put together a community of fans that are willing to

discuss football in a forum free of sectarianism and the like. Since our inception

in December 2005, we have attracted hundreds of members from all over the

world while winning acclaim for our relaxed and open atmosphere.

We have thought hard about how we want to make this site interactive in

addition to our successful forum. The main point we stress is that we

are not like your normal fan site. We understand that the internet is an

easy entity to access and grab any photo or video you want, no matter

who shoots it, and place it on a webpage for all to see.

We are not about that!

What we want is to make this a site 100% by the fans for the fans!

We should let the Fish rejoin just for one day to celebrate. There's some people I'd really like him to meet.......

He was a computer program.

Thank God this site was created or I would be in work every day actually doing work the whole day. :sherlock:

The continued generous contributions both financially and posting in topics etc have really helped this site continue to grow to what it has become today and hopefully grow even bigger in the future. :praise:
