Wreckedroy 33
In his interview on Sportsound tonight (radio Scotland) SDM did speak about how badly the supporters were traeted in Spain, but he also said that unless fans stop singing sectarian songs then the club will be either fined, stand/s closed or maybe the whole stadium closed. No matter what any fan thinks of our chairman, he is speaking the truth and if we do not stop this stupidity we are going to be made an example of and we will have no one to blame but ourselves. Another thing that is becoming boring is the continual complaining about the press, if we get our house in order they will soon move on to someone else. The press did not sing the songs in Spain, it was done with people calling themselves Rangers supporters.Nail on the Head mate. There is way too much buck-passing on this issue. The apologists repeatedly bleat about "The Tims get away with it" or "the press only report about OUR support". Time to stop the excuses and get on with cleaning up our own act instead of blaming others.Well said Sir David Murray.
Danny 9
pity he had not defended the behaved fans that were battered by the spanish police. With every post minstral, you get more and more negative and seem unwilling to give the club credit for anything as opposed to criticising just about everything.I understand your frustrations, but you're starting to sound repetitive.I say this with the highest respect old friend. Thermopylae 15,287
Perhaps Murray should name and shame the journo's who have been doing the dirty on us at UEFA.
Thermopylae 15,287
pity he had not defended the behaved fans that were battered by the spanish police. It would take him on the wrong end of a baton charge before he would do that, just like his lawyers only defend his good name and not the good name of our club. Guest orangpendek
it appears that to get all the fans onside murray is going to have to do something about the media. altho imo it is giving them exactly what they want and a complete waste of time, it may be a price worth paying. that way there will be no excuses, no ulterior agendas.edit: or is it agendum? should have stuck in at school. Sad thing about the whole Spanish polis problem is that the decent fans who did get abused aren't given a forum by the press because of the actions of the eejits in the support. This is a huge reason why we have to clean house - these so called "fans" are directly hurting other fans by their actions, not to mention the club they profess to love.
