judging by the signings made (even tho they are on loan) im starting to think kyle doesnt have a future with us

I think it would be best for both parties if this was the case sadly as I never want to see a player do bad for Rangers but it just isn't going to happen and it never looked likely either.

Problem is saying Kyle doesn't have a future - I'd still extend his contract.

He can be a good squad player and still too good a player to let go for nothing in 18 months.

Same terms, another couple of years.

We paid enough. Be selfish and retain him for squad purposes.

i dont even want to think about what paltry fee we'd receive if he goes this summer. be under a million im sure.

Correct. We should be smart here and extend it for a couple years.

Championship clubs would be keen to have him.

Beattie rather than Goodwillie must come close.

Agreed mate, but only with the benefit on heinsight if I'm honest.

I thought Beattie was a great signing at the time to be fair. That's just me though.

But I agree. It's ultimately Smith's responsibility and he carries the can for it.
