Allan McGregor

first goal ; opened his body too much.

second goal; covered his post not the runner.

third goal;god only knows.

1st goal-Couldn't do much to stop that. If he never open his body up you would have said he was too narrow

2nd goal-You do realise McGregor is our Goalkeeper don't you???? and not a defender

3rd goal-was his fault

imo he was at fault for all 3 goals today his awarness to match play and his positonal sense is a disgrace.

The 3rd was a bad goal to lose, it finished us. He was badly at fault just as he was in the New Year game when he had the rush of blood and came flying out of his goal. However, that aside Allan has been fantastic for us and these errors are far outweighed by the superb saves he's made at various times throughout the season.

the keeper was not happy with the ball when they were in the tunnel b4 the game he spoke to the ref and the ball was changed, the after about 5 mins in broon and his mates were moaning to the ref about the ball at a free kick, you could see the swerve any time it was hit with any power.

The only goal Mcgregor is at fault for is the last one. The first goal is terrible. Commons has time to pick his pass. If you look at the game he's not even really running, he's lightly jogging and has all the time in the world. The second one there is absolutely nothing he can do. Its obvious they're going to run an overlap and not one of our boys picks it up. Its basic route 1 football. Pass and move. And we came unstuck by it. Its abismal.

what absolute shite from the OP

first goal was our defence. second was good play by the taigs and the pace of hooper (although i do believe mcg would have been better positioned covering the left of his goal, rather than trying to black the ball as it came across goal). third goal was unstoppable with that swerve.

we were denied a penalty. although im not one for conspiracy theories...it just gets pathetic when the shoes on the other foot.

You obviously don't know much about football or goalkeeping. The third goal was the only goal he could have done better with.

The second goal, the ONLY thing he could have done differently was move early for the cross, but then he runs the risk of the ball being struck past him at his near post as he rushes out for a cross that doesn't arrive (See Victor Valdes vs Arsenal in mid-week for what I'm talking about).

The first goal he could do nothing about. He did well to get anything on it as he's trying to narrow the angle in a 1v1's situation.

Get a grip, we were far worse in every other area of the pitch than goalkeeping today.
