Ok so we won't have a free midweek for a long time but still think Walter should be in position to make full use of our small squad.

With Ness and Hutton around hopefully he will be happy enough to rest Davis and Edu (even tho he is just starting a run of games and Ness could be first pick) when required.

We also have Bartley who can play in centre mid or rest Weir and Bougie when he plays at the back. Still in shock we released Webster when we still have to pay him compensation. Why not just pay his wages and have him around if fit/needed.

We can play Foster to give Whittaker a rest and then move Whittaker to left back to give Papac a break.

Then we Naismith, Fleck, Diouf and Weiss who can be the link between midfield and attack.

Up front Jela will always be fresh for domestic games whilst we have Lafferty and Healy who can play with him. I'd imagine Diouf will be up front against PSV.

Walter should defo use a few of the fresher players against St Johnstone.
