Sepp blatter being investigated

finally, hope the fat leech is gone from world football.

Here is what he had to say about it

"Fifa does not need a revolution. What Fifa needs is iron clad laws that are implemented forcefully ...When a Swiss farmer's neighbour has a cow while he has none, the less fortunate farmer will work twice as hard so that one day he can buy a cow as well," Blatter said.

"When another farmer, elsewhere, on an island, say, has no cow but his neighbour does, that farmer will kill the neighbour's cow out of sheer malice. I'd rather be a Swiss farmer, like it or not," he added

FIFA and UEFA are 2 of a kind - corrupt money-making machines for the already priveledged.

The small fish can fuck off as far as they are concerned.

What they (and SKY) have created in modern day football is nothing short of disgraceful.

Countries like Holland, Belgium, and even Scotland, who have always been to the forefront of European and World football have been slowly strangled by these organisations, to the extent that we struggle to even provide a decent standard of football for the fans now.

FIFA is the most corrupt organisation on the planet, they need to firstly get rid of Bladder as he is quite simply an embarrassment and a corrupt little fucker, the arab contesting him is no better, in fact a complete re-structure, re-vote of the world cups for 2018 & 2022 and i'll be happy!!

Booler - Bosman changed the chances of the better players in Europe staying long term with clubs in smaller countries to virtually nil. The rules are now forever in favour of the player. And rightfully so. They are after all workers and should have the same employment rights that we are entitled to.

With that, player pursuit of money (ergo, bigger leagues) was as inevitable as it has been relentless. We all know the net result - European challenges once offered by the likes of Ajax and Rangers are never serious in the sense they might compete again at the sharp end of the CL as things stand.

I agree with what you're saying here.

However, you miss one major point which applies to the majority of footballers and not the majority of other employees - clubs "buy" players.

eg a company such as BP or ICI will offer you employment for a set salary, which can be reviewed annually, and that's it. You won't receive a signing-on fee, or a transfer fee if you then decide to leave at a later date.

This, in my opinion, is where the Bosman ruling is severely flawed, as footballers have all the power (as you rightly say yourself) and I don't really agree that anyone should hold any more power than the other.

Employees and Employers should hold a more even share of power when it comes to negotiating contracts, salaries, etc. which is not the case in football.
