Materazzi In Latest Fft On His Time At Everton (regards To Walter):

Recommended Posts

It wasn't completely bad, because it meant I could go back to Italy (the sending offs). Walter Smith was a great manager; he understood the foreign players very well and he let us back home. He knew I trained seriously when I went back to Perugia or every time I was suspended, or ona national fixture break, I could come back to Italy. So every month that season I spent a week every month at home. Yes, the experience was important even if the tactics were classical english with nothing teach the italian.

Super interview

I was as happy as Larry when Italy horsed France in the 2006 final. Where I was staying in France (near Tourrettes), there was one public place to watch the match and we were refused entry because we 'were not French'.

Wanks - their grandly planned celebrations ultimately nothing more than one more white-flag waving moment. How we laughed.
