Turnberry18 3,204
Early in the first half, before Rangers' first goal Aluko is brought down in the box as he runs in on goal. Why, wasn't it given?!

Aarfc 0
if it goes against us it's deemed fine, if it goes for us how ever its blatantly a protenstant conspiracy end of
Gid 46
Without having seen either incident, it does raise the question:"Why would Aluko dive in an attempt to win a penalty when he was already genuinely brought down and denied a clear penalty?" kirkiebear 1,013
Funny how the media ignored that claim, and the stonewaller we didn't get last weekend too. Seems as though the whole " some go for you, some go against you" statement that is commonly used in this league doesnt apply for Rangers, in our case it seems to be " some go for you then we will start a media campaign, some go against you.....then who cares?" bearsinbath 95
Just watched the BhBhC highlights from the internet and they did not show the incident, surprise surprise! On viewing the penalty incident again, although it was the softest of the soft, Aluko is tugged ever so slightly as he cut in front of the defender, he has felt it and went down, played for it and got it, good on him. How many years did we watch the mhanky mhob get away with this with Sutton, Larson, Hartson, Petrov all at it under Father O'Kneel and Nakamura et al under Strachan. Believe me this is a tactic of theirs, they are good at it and they get away with it!

LucyBlue 2,278
We're starting to sound like tims.Stiff upper lip, brush and shrug of the shoulder to genuine penalty claims? The Rangers way?Any fool can see the continual and persistent bleating of those scum has affected refereeing performance.Let's shrug it off all the way to losing the title shall we?And let's shrug when the SFA investigates incidents negatively involving our players more than the rest of the SPL put together.Yes...lets shrug our shoulders...don't wanna seem like Tims. kirkiebear 1,013
Football swings in roundabouts, however, it's clearly against the agenda of some sections of the media to highlight this.If they are trying to use the arguement; footballers are role models, they better suspend hooper and commons for being fat bastards... Like you said, In football things can go for you, things can go against you. However it seems as though every time something goes for us, the media whips up a massive campaign to highlight it, practically begging the sfa to get involved. But, when something goes against us, it just gets sweeped under the carpet. Its blatant double standards everytime our club is involved in something.
