Gaz52 11,837
Surely must be some sort of clause that he plays anytime he is fit? If not then Ally McCoist is not the manager to win us the SPLAbsolutely raging at that shite today, utter utter utter shite, no fight at all
NorthernLights 2,529
Should have been Bendiksen for Papac instead.
simplythebest 11,453
The game was done regardless of that substitution.
King Jela 21,689
I'm starting to see more and more clearly that Ally definitely is not the man to lead us to the SPL.
We Are The People 62
tbf, Pique went upfront for Barca against Arsenal I think it was and he scored a goal.

Walter was an experienced manager and winner when he came back, Ally is not.

simplythebest 11,453
Plenty of doubts about Ally myself, but he has been let down by many of the players.
We Are The People 62
I worry about some of our support. No, the point is, that if you put a big strong CB upfront it will most likely cause some havoc for the oppositions defence.Especially when we were just hoofing the ball up. Redsox1 1,361
I think the point is the team he starts with not the feeble attemps he makes later to sort it.Not a sole agrees with his starting line ups so thats the problem.Last time I felt a manager was picking a team so badly PLG was in charge. We Are The People 62
Gerard Pique can actually use the ball at his feet, assisted a few goals with back heels etc, Bartley could only wish to have such technique.Did Bartley even win one header or cause any trouble today? Shocking substitution especially when the likes of Bendiksen could have come on, the long ball did nothing all day as the midfielders never run in behind.9 Men, there was almost no way we could have passed the ball out from the back so the defenders/goalie were hoofing it upfront. Bendiksen wouldnt win a header and Bartley is favourite to win headers. Ok, he didnt, but he was expected to.
Jocky Broon 207
Bringing Bartley on to play up front was the worst decision I've seen since Walter play Dailly up there. What about Scot Symon playing Roger Hynd up top in the ECWC Final against Bayern Munich? It was bread & butter for that awful St.Mirren defence. Whereas whenever Aluko got the ball down he looked dangerous; when Davis brought the ball down and played Laff's in and also Jela, we looked dangerous; when we scored the fucking goal through a pass that was 3 feet off the ground I just do not understand why we punt the ball up!We CAN play football, we HAVE the players to but we prefer to just hoof it up . Can't believe someone is trying to defend bringing on Bartley and sticking him up front. Astonishing.
